When Kansas City has needed millions for better buses, infrastructure, and healthcare support for all, @JoeBiden has been there for us. That’s the same story in cities and towns across America.
That’s why I’m proud to stand with Joe this 4th of July and every day.
This whole thing is absolutely bonkers but the whole you can’t appeal thing... WTAF?!
And admitting the ex parte communication took place?! 😒

The response to this from @Uber_Support is again that my order isn’t eligible for a refund. For an item the restaurant didn’t have. They told the driver, and the driver messaged me in the app to tell me before he delivered the order. It’s a BS response & straight up theft.
Hey @Uber since your chat people suck, maybe your people on here can explain how it isn’t theft for you to tell me my order isn’t eligible for a refund when you have confirmation from the driver that the restaurant was out of the item you’re still charging me for.

I’m sadly not surprised, but this is disgusting. Apparently it was the 3rd one he’d let go like that.
Wheelchair users have been trying for ages to raise awareness about their wheelchairs being broken so often when they fly, and the devastating impact this has on them.
@AmericanAir baggage handlers decided to give a demonstration of how much they enjoy breaking them 😡

one of my 7th graders just brought back a book and said "I realized I didn't like scary books," as they checked out a happy romance. And, yet again, this is why WE TRUST STUDENTS WITH THEIR OWN READING CHOICES. I cannot stress enough that kids GET this.
Reading this was stressful & exhausting. 😂

Did you see Roll Call's ableist cartoon yesterday?
The daily experience of Americans with disabilities has no business being the punchline in any joke.
This thread is a must read, especially the part about how Roll Call cropped the cartoon later to take out problematic text. 🤬 I’m also going to RT Sen. Duckworth’s response which is excellent of course.

This result is common. People faking their illnesses is not. Also 1/5000 people means EDS is not rare. Do the freaking math. 🤬

I remember so many conservatives telling me someday I will grow out of the ‘liberal feminist thing’ — when was that supposed to happen exactly? Because I’ve been liberal and feminist my whole life and have only gotten more sure, more angry, more informed, and way fucking louder.
