Usually I don’t talk about stuff like this because frankly it happens way too often. But not today…

Edmonton has had one of the strongest transit recoveries since the pandemic compared to other cities in Canada, with ridership increasing by 130% since the spring of 2021.
Last May, Edmonton Transit had 5.3 million riders. That’s five million trips made by Edmontonians and visitors to our city to work, community events, local attractions, Oiler’s games, and more.
As transit ridership continues to grow, we are working hard to improve transit for all Edmontonians.
And an affordable and accessible transit system is one of the ways that we’re building an Edmonton for all of us.
