The state of Washington is refusing to ensure a female wrestler can compete this season without facing a male opponent, after she was allegedly sexually assaulted by a trans athlete last year. Her attorneys aren't even currently seeking damages, just protection for their client, but the state is still insisting she must compete under the risk of facing the same athlete who allegedly assaulted her.
Now, her attorneys at @ADFLegal are asking the US Supreme Court for help, and ADF counsel Hal Frampton says a SCOTUS injunction can help set a new precedent to protect female athletes across the country.
