Great news! You have a permanent #ForeverCanadian petition signing location:
#Yyc
I signed up as a signature collector, a few weeks ago. Have not been contacted yet.
The #ForeverCanadian movement is sweeping across Alberta! Please, the team and sign up as a signature collector.
Together, we will win.
Hey @CBC, less commentary from ex-politicians, and more from the At Issue panel and your own news staff.

On Friday, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health finally issues a statement urging Albertans to get vaccinated in the face of a measles outbreak. On Monday, he’s out of a job. We are truly being governed by the Convoy Crowd. Alberta has become a Trumpian dystopia. #ElbowsUp

Another turn for the worse in the CorruptCare scandal.
Demand a public inquiry now ➡️corruptcare.ca/
A leaked email from Senior ADM Leann Wagner reveals that the UCP instructed employees to direct any inquiries from the Auditor General to a lawyer, aiming to control responses.
This is a gag order on public servants and yet another step in the UCP coverup of #CorruptCare.

.@PierrePoilievre will do a dance on your child’s coffin if it means scoring a political point. ⚰️
This is the ugliest form of politics that Canada has ever seen.

There will come a day – it might be as soon as January it might be later – when the Trump administration will make the momentous decision to ignore a court order. They will be excited, they will be nervous, they will be sick to their stomachs. But once it is done, and they have gotten away with it, there will be no turning back. That will mark their decisive break with the rule of law. Everything else will follow from that. Too late, their opponents will realize the courts can’t save them.
.@Neal_Katyal on Trump’s plan for mass deportations: “What he’s basing this on is this idea that the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 permits it... that requires an invasion or predatory incursion… that’s an example of where the courts can and will do something.”

After being silenced by the Conservative Deputy Speaker for over 6 months because Conservative MPs didn’t like what I had to say, I rose in the House of Commons today to continue what I was saying on March 20th before being censored.
As I was saying…
In Canada and around the world we have seen the emergence of radical far-right movements.
They have had a profound impact the types of governments that have taken power and on the lives of people around the world including here in Canada.
They have:
· Organized disinformation campaigns designed to defame people, create division and undermine confidence in reliable sources of information.
· They have impacted how some people treat others.
· They have impacted how some politicians treat others, including here in Canada.
· They have led to some politicians acting against the best interests of Canadians by opposing sound economic policies, by opposing sound social policies, like Dental Care, child care and better long-term care; by undermining fundamental rights - like those protected in our Charter, women’s rights and a woman’s right to choose; and by opposing measures to stand up to aggressors like Russia.
I urge us to take actions together to stop the growing influence of these radical far-right movements, because doing so is essential to protect Canada’s security, our economy and our freedom.

This is an excellent idea to fix primary care. Coupled with teams and reformed payment model it would work.
Just imagine. Education and healthcare for every child(person).
Just imagine a just society with government doing what they are supposed to - and we pay for.
Thanks @globeandmail for highlighting this big idea: We could have a health system where the guarantee of access to a primary care team is as automatic as the assurance that every child will be assigned to a public school in their neighbourhood. theglobeandmail.com/opinion/…

This is pretty crazy. Obviously it is not supposed to work this way. A short thread...
AB healthcare is organized (or was) along a continuum.
There was an expectation that people would be able to access general healthcare locally. We call that primary care. /1

Accuracy and credibility matter to me, unlike with this government (eg: broken promises on the FM PCCM). To that end I apologize for the incorrect choice of the word 'cancelled' instead of 'could not be scheduled and confirmed' due to the lack of anesthesiologists.

It is unfortunate the former President of the AMA seems focused on needlessly scaring Albertans by using misinformation. AHS has confirmed that the Stollery has NOT cancelled surgeries.
Everyday my focus as Minister remains on working with our outstanding healthcare professionals to make our system stronger

Hi folks. It's been a long time. I have been off this platform for many reasons. It's pretty toxic around here sometimes and I needed a long extended break. It was nice. I probably won't stay for long.
But let's talk about Family Medicine in #Alberta 👇

Its amazing to me how many groups our government thinks are not doing a 'good job'. Police here, teachers, nurses, doctors.
When are they going to take a good, hard look in the mirror?
