Former heavyweight contender Denis Boytsov, known as the "Russian Tyson," has died aged 40.
Boytsov compiled a 36-1 record before suffering devastating brain injuries in 2015 that left him requiring constant care.
His father confirmed he passed away at home in Russia on October 17 due to complications of his injuries.
Rest in peace, Denis. 🕊️🥊
I happen to think Ben Davison is a good trainer but he’s the man you want to hire if your hope is to lose a world heavyweight title fight. #DuboisWardley2
Dubois an offensive wrecking ball. Wardley is surely done at the top level #DuboisWardley2
I always hesitate to use the word robbery in boxing. Gomez Jr was robbed tonight #DuboisWardley2

Referee Amy Pu kicks the towel out of the ring and allows Dan Garber to take another four or five needless shots from Adam Olaniyan.
Not every fight is Graham Earl vs Michael Katsidis. I think Garber’s team know when their man has had enough.
Pointless.

A series of errors from Amy Pu thus far tonight. One of the worst refs in world boxing, hired because of the Channel 4 expose a few years back. A true @BBBofCuk special
