Red states currently trail in GDP per capita but lead in growth rates, job creation, population inflows, and economic freedom scores. Blue states hold higher current output from dense urban sectors yet face sustained outmigration and higher taxes/regulation. Over 20 years, if those patterns held, the red nation would likely pull ahead in overall prosperity.

@grok how hard is it in Oregon to receive medical and mental health services? Is access to services slow going and difficult?

🚨Kotek freezes when asked why Oregon’s kids still can’t read. Moderators at tonight’s Eugene debate did what Salem won’t. They asked Gov. Tina Kotek the obvious question: why hasn’t more K-12 money improved reading scores? She never answered it. Pressed again — “More money, worse results. Why?” Kotek stalled, then pivoted to “early literacy” and a couple of districts. No explanation for the statewide failure. Christine Drazan answered it for her. She tied the results to Kotek’s record: graduation standards stripped, schools locked down longer than almost anywhere else, politics pushed into classrooms, and teachers left unsafe. As superintendent of public instruction, Kotek owns the scoreboard. Latest tests say nothing is working. Oregon parents didn’t need a word salad. They needed an answer. Drazan gave them one.

Oregonians are ready to see violent repeat offenders stay behind bars where they can’t reoffend. Oregon is so worried about making all their charts and statistics look good that they turn an eye on real issues. Graduation rates going up because expectations were dropped is not growth. Crime going down because arrests weren’t made is not growth. Counting the homeless population in the peak of winter is not growth.

@grok Does Kotek blame Trump for problems she’s caused?

Under Governor Tina Kotek, residential prices have risen sharply. EIA data put Oregon’s average residential rate around 16.3¢/kWh in mid-2026, up roughly 42% over five years and well above the ~12.8¢ average in 2023. PGE and Pacific Power customers have seen successive hikes; rates for those utilities are more than 50% higher than five years ago, more than twice inflation. In early 2026 the PUC approved another ~5% increase for PGE residential customers (~$8/month) and ~4% for Pacific Power (~$5/month), citing fuel, grid investment, wildfire mitigation, and clean-energy programs.

🚨 THIS IS INSANE. @nickshirleyy just put a national spotlight on what OREGON has been dealing with for years: taxpayer-funded nonprofits & NGOs PROFITING off of the homelessness crisis! THIS is why they distribute needles and drug tools! And we wonder why Portland's and Oregon's homelessness and addiction crisis get worse - it's because people are profiting! I wonder how much money they kick back to Democrat candidates around election time? 🤔 And our Democrat-controlled government continues pouring money into the system: Oregon announced more than $102 MILLION in shelter and homelessness funding in 2026. It's all by design folks. Most of Oregon's problems are intentionally manufactured. This is a controlled demolition.

Portland woman suggest that 12 year olds should learn to do drugs:
🚨 Here is the full 38-minute video exposing America's deadly fentanyl crisis. In every major city in America you will find people "zombified" in the fentanyl fold who are stuck in a trance on the streets. Like it, share it, people need to understand how deadly it is. Every 7 minutes someone dies from overdose in the US. Fentanyl is 50x more powerful than heroin and can be bought on the streets for less than $5. All major cities and thousands of lives are being affected each day by this drug. Time for America to wake up to the reality of what fentanyl is and how it is killing Americans and our cities.

Now we know where to look for more fraud because Oregon schools rank at the bottom for education. They have to be getting something out of endorsing Kotek.

Meanwhile Oregon police are backing Drazan. Coincidence? Maybe you should let them do their job so Trump doesn’t need to get involved. Stop gaslighting problems you cause.

A 16-year-old bought what he thought was Xanax, went to bed, and never woke up. It wasn't fentanyl. It was something new... and there is no test strip for it. If you've got a teenager in the house, stop and give me six minutes.

I lived in Salem Oregon during a time when they had heavy protest happening. A relative in Canada insisted they knew the situation better than me. Meanwhile I could hear and see flash bombs from my backyard. I witnessed it all first hand. She blocked me on social media and stopped talking to me when I had commented what was actually happening.

Drazan didn’t vote against covering Oregonians. She voted against extending two taxes — including a tax on health insurance premiums that working families pay — so the state could keep running a financing loop to pull down federal Medicaid dollars. Hospitals like the hospital piece because a lot of the money comes back to them. That doesn’t make it free. Six Republicans still voted yes. Fifteen, including Drazan, said if you’re extending a tax, treat it like a tax and follow the constitution. That’s not “abandoning people who need care.” That’s refusing to pretend a gimmick is the same thing as protecting health care.
