I knew making @jamespike29 listen to the brilliant Dish podcast would pay dividends!! With a first trip to @Cafe_Murano booked in this week (Manchester - London trains permitting 🤞) this hotpot was the perfect start to a @AngelaHartnett inspired week 🥰

I am back in the U.K. from Ukraine, safe but sad. Not helped by reading of how operating theatres are standing empty in the U.K. because of lack of staff and beds. 12 years of deliberate neglect by the government will take years to remedy.

PRIVATE MEDICINE IS NOT THE SOLUTION! It is extravagant, inequitable and easily leads to over treatment. Socialised healthcare systems like the NHS work fine in Scandinavia. The problem with the NHS is the Tory Party, not the principle of tax-funded equal medical treatment for all
Well Linda’s chapter has reduced me to an absolute puddle of tears. What a ******* legend - both @Rylan and his mum ❤️

I've tried to be more honest with others - and myself - about my mental health in recent years and it has helped me so much. I hope this paragraph from Undoctored says it loud and clear: if you're struggling, please reach out to someone for help. #WorldMentalHealthDay

ALT If you're reading this and you relate to my difficulty in opening up, I can't pretend that I'm any kind of poster boy. I'm a work in the earliest stages of progress. But I can say that I've never regretted any of the times that I've been honest with friends, family, professionals, anyone - however scary it felt at the time. Putting parts of this book down on paper has been the hardest thing I've ever done, but I know in my heart I won't regret this either. There's always someone you can speak to - give it a try.
