I'm pedantic and noticed I used "empirical" 42 times in a book chapter. What's the difference between "empiric" and "empirical"? Empirical describes knowledge/evidence based on systematic observation/ experiment. Empiric describes practice/action based on experience/observation.

The goal is one - to support children with cancer! 🎗️Next up at the Second Global OncoThon by OncoDaily is Jennifer Geel (@JenniferGeel ), President-Elect of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (@WorldSIOP) Africa Branch, who joined to talk about the ongoing efforts to improve pediatric oncology care in Africa, highlighting the work of multidisciplinary teams and the impact on survival rates.
She discussed how pediatric oncology pharmacists are collaborating across the continent to enhance training, the creation of cancer treatment baselines through research, and initiatives to educate healthcare providers who are not oncology specialists but are key in treating pediatric cancer patients.
