This does so much for politicians being seen as humans. It does so much for people of all genders being able to admit their jobs take a toll. We’re all in a slightly better world because of this speech.

All day everyday I’m told the same thing by our grassroots community groups, “we shouldn’t be doing this work, this is the job of government, but we’re too busy doing the work to change that”. Local activism is being systemically silenced and under-funded.

I often find wording and headlines like this problematic but this is next level from @BBCNews IMO. Words like LAUNCHES a BLISTERING ATTACK suggest that Britney Spears has power and agency which are exactly the things she’s begging for in front of the entire world
