PS Treasury Committee is a cross party committee of MPs, not part of the government. Its job is to scrutinise policy, examine legislation where relevant, and hold ministers and public bodies to account on behalf of Parliament. While it can publish reports and put pressure on the government, but it doesn't have any direct power to compel the government to act.

BT have reported a large increase in accidental 999 calls following an update on Android mobiles that triggers an SOS when a button on the side of your phone is pressed five times. If you have an Android please check your SOS settings to check you aren't accidentally calling 999.

Sad to hear of Paul O’Grady’s death, he lived very local to us and husband’s colleagues saved his life a few years ago which Paul publicly acknowledged, he was a real advocate for the #NHS and the hard working staff. #RipPaulOgrady

Woken at 5am by husband going to the hospital to start his last Sat as a Consultant Dr for the NHS probably be home at 9pm if he's lucky having been paid only for 3hrs. Pouring with rain so no gardening here.
