Women in Tech Miami Event💗
Lucky to be able to call these women friends and to be part of a community where I get to not only feel inspired, but hopefully inspire others too. Loved seeing so many friends and meeting so many new ladies in the Miami tech scene.

This was a fun one, thanks @MsKelseyGraves for sharing our mission on financial literacy and gamifying savings. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch consumers adapt so quickly!
Who knew saving money could feel like a game?
@MsKelseyGraves shares her first impressions of Symphony’s gamified savings experience on Trip Tales Podcast with our CBO, @ChopinCadence & our COO, @Jen_Styles.
Great energy @womeninmiatech event. Plus, the entrepreneurial support system here is really making an impact! Thanks @MariaDerchi @thelabmiami 🤍

This will be a good watch.
@wework was an incredible place to work, a little crazy at times, but the people I worked with were everything! Looking forward to watching @StevenBartlett @thediaryoface
13,000 employees became 3 in the space of one week.
It’s quite difficult to comprehend what that would do to a person.
Adam Neumann is the co-founder of WeWork. He grew the company to a $47 billion valuation before its failed IPO, his departure as CEO and one of the most public corporate collapses in recent history.
I’ve met hundreds of extraordinary people doing this podcast, but within a few minutes of meeting Adam I realised he was quite unlike almost any founder or CEO I’ve met before.
There’s a depth, philosophy and perspective to him that is incredibly rare.
So I wanted to understand where that came from and what the last few years had actually done to him.
We talked about:
- His relationship with money and where it went wrong.
- The friends who disappeared when everything changed.
- The mistakes he made as a leader.
- Why he now surrounds himself with people willing to tell him no.
- Why he disconnects from technology for 24 hours every week.
One thing that stayed with me is how easy it is to believe in yourself when everything is going up and everybody wants to be around you.
The more interesting question is what you believe when everything is crashing.
You can have your own view on Adam and WeWork. That tension is partly why I found this conversation so interesting.
I wanted to know what all of it taught him.
Out now on all platforms ❤️👊🏾

First you fight them then you join em.
Citi is partnering with Coinbase to let its institutional clients accept stablecoin payments, with Coinbase providing the payment rails and blockchain infrastructure while Citi settles the funds as bank of record.
The partnership will also let customers hold and move stablecoins through Citi’s banking infrastructure, while Citi separately expands its own token services to Japan and the UAE.

Fascinating.
Chief Economist at Apollo: agents could cause a bank run by sweeping household cash into accounts paying 3-5% instead of the 0.1% national average, causing banks to lose a large share of their cheap deposits.

A first look at what we’re building at Fancore.
Fans become fans long before they buy a ticket. We’re helping teams know who those fans are and build a direct relationship through membership, recognition and rewards - all under the team’s own brand.
If you lead a sports team or league, or lead commercial, digital or fan engagement, I’d love to show you what we’re working on.
25 years ago today at 8:46amET the unexpected happened. We can never forget. 🙏
Still gives me chills thinking about the @CNN newsroom that morning. I was fresh out of college, observing and learning from the best producers and journalists in the world respond in action without hesitation. Here’s a glimpse:

“The lifestyle of an entrepreneur at its core is: I can take more pain than the other guy, and I'll prove it.”
“ There's a zen that can happen when a warrior has fought for a long time. You can get used to it.”
“ You almost start accepting it. Like, something bad happens and you don't even get mad.”
“ There are benefits. But you need to make sure you don't get so used to it that it doesn't even bother you. You can get so zen, you're unbothered.”
“ There's something special about the extra fierceness of being bothered, being upset about something that is wrong.”

Comparison is the poison ☠️ of this era
- I can not believe how many spend their time tearing down other people, other projects, seemingly not really, but they deem competitors and everything else
And then ….
They wonder why they aren’t getting love
We’ve spent countless hours truly getting to know our @symphonyio users and what they want from financial products.
As @vivaldi0x says “distribution is key” watch below. Thank you @arbitrum
Finding product-market fit onchain starts before you build.
Before building @symphonyio, @vivaldi0x and team talked to the people they wanted to build for, figured out distribution and what would make it worth talking about.
Two months after launch, 80% of their users came from friends telling friends.

Distribution is everything and word of mouth is one of the hardest growth loops to manufacture.
You can buy clicks. You can’t buy people genuinely wanting to tell their friends.
Just two months in, over 80% of Symphony users have come through word of mouth while our user retention has increased to 99.3%.
And we’re doing it on @arbitrum, using onchain rails to build a financial platform that reaches users all over the world.
