Great to hear @psychpolis talking about the importance of showing vulnerability and normalising vulnerability, in his opening remarks on the HSE Health & Wellbeing Men's Health Webinar. Hugely encouraging to see this contrasted with increases in toxic masculinity of late.
Had the loveliest interview this morning talking all things Vulnerability with the gorgeous soul @cmckpresents at @NewstalkFM
So encouraged that this topic is getting more airtime & that we’re starting to speak more&more about how vulnerability is central to mental wellbeing 🙏
Great to hear a robust discussion on @MartyM_RTE @RTEOne this morning on the importance/impact of Vulnerability on teams & organisations. Leadership has/is changing & we must continue to push against social norms to show that Vulnerability is strength. More of these conversations

“There’s power in vulnerability.” @ClaireBrockTV in conversation with Marianne Roux
Delighted to hear that being spoken explicitly at the #IITD22 conference, where the discussion focus is on building leaders for the future. @iitd_ireland @CrokePark
Marianne Roux on the evolution of, and future of leadership.

“Leadership is a social process, it happens with other people. It is not about the individual.” - Marianne Roux

“If you’re going to carve up the HR function, do so by having a strategic function and an operational function, rather than separating HR and L&D.”

On building cultures of Trust:
-Must be est through relationships
-Must also give space to allow relationships to flourish
-Give people the tools to enable them to build trust
-Support them to work with a coach to explore their own relationships

Really interesting to hear “How the Talent Agenda is Influencing Inventors decisions”, and how “the people stuff” is influencing the value of the organisation. - @StuartWoollard

“Leaders have to be vulnerable.” @CVDoody
Really glad to hear vulnerability being given such a platform in todays panel discussion - as being critical in fostering learning cultures, build relationships, invite curiosity & promote healthy risk.

“Important to get curious about an individual’s purpose,a team’s purpose and an organisation’s purpose;and how they link,or don’t.” @bnmurphy14

I really value that Brian included those two words;something which is often overlooked. The critical difference.
“Model - Coach - Care” framework used by Microsoft to support managers and their wellbeing, learning and performance, in order to support their teams. - @bnmurphy14

“We need to create cultures of learning where people can try & fail.” @CVDoody #iitd22 @iitd_ireland
This really aligns with my work and research on vulnerability; to learn with must help willing to try & fail, but to do so feels vulnerable, so we must proritise vulnerability.
“Fostering individuals to have appetite, courage and curiosity, to be empowered and to thrive in an unscripted world, is what’s needed now.” - @BridHoranIE
