A Tale of Everyday Parenting When I arrived in the bakery queue there was a small boy standing alone in front of me. He was crying. His parents were standing awkwardly nearby. ’Go ahead’ the mother said to me. Then she said to the man, “I’ll handle this, see you at home” 1/

Today I heard from a parent that their son was terribly upset when he got covid, because it would ruin his 100% attendance record. At the end of the year, those with 100% get book tokens & certificates in assembly. Here’s why policies like that should stop. 1/

Really insightful and powerful to hear from young people about their experiences of education, SEND and inclusion.
We’ve explored the educational experiences of young people in England with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Young people aged 11 to 16 years, their parents, carers and education staff share their thoughts. ➡️ ow.ly/qyl250LvOFx

Lewis Hamilton was permanently excluded in Year 11 & he spoke candidly about the effect it had on him. He has always been an incredible philanthropist, but off the back of his own painful experiences, he’s dedicated to improving the life chances of excluded children. So inspiring

We're working with @TheDifferenceEd to train more inclusive school leaders and reduce school exclusions across England. It was great for our founder, @LewisHamilton, to see the impact Difference Leaders can make to the lives of young people on our visit to Tunmarsh.
