This was a gorgeous event, very moving and inspiring.
If you can get to @SeftonLibraries over the next couple of weeks, I highly recommend.
This exhibition is in Crosby and there's an installation at Bootle.
@the_libraries do incredible things, connecting community and arts 💙
At Crosby library with Labour Cllr Jen Corcoran @JenCLabour and artist Jenny Gaskell at launch of her event on love and loss - very poignant. Go and visit. Labour commitment to arts in Sefton @seftoncouncil

ALT Sefton Council statement. Councillor Marion Atkinson said: "We are deeply shocked and saddened at the tragic events, which unfolded earlier today. Our thoughts are with all the victims of this attack and their families. I'd like to thank all those who responded to the incident and helped in any way they could in what must have been extremely difficult circumstances.
All of these candidates were more popular than the anti-trans campaigner who trailed in Bristol Central.

I joined the party a little over 7 years ago as I wanted to be part of getting my home town to have a Labour MP.
Many activists have been at it far longer and I respect that groundwork.
We've got stuck in and worked hard and I'm delighted for @patrick_hurley and our town ❤️🌹
Our little bit of history we've been working towards for years.
At last we can say #labourgain
Having had children in the years 2000, 2003, 2009, 2018 and 2021, I can absolutely see the difference.
One of the many reasons I want a Labour government again is illustrated here 👇
I was a bit late for the big pic, but caught up with one of many teams campaigning for @patrick_hurley & noted
Lab voters are keen for change and with us;
Prev. tactical voters know we are the choice now;
Prev. voters of our current MP are switching to us.
A great start! 🌹

A message from Emily Spurrell your re-elected Police and Crime Commissioner 💬
“I’m so proud and honoured that the public of Merseyside have once again chosen me to serve as their Police and Crime Commissioner with such a large majority.
“When I was firstly elected three years ago, I promised to stand up for our region and demand more for local people.
“Today’s result is a huge endorsement from the people of Merseyside of the work which has already been delivered and shows they back my plan to continue this work during the next four years.
“I want to reiterate that promise today. I’m determined to continue the work I’ve started – ridding the streets of the serious violence and organised crime that blights our neighbourhoods, investing in our communities and working to prevent crime by creating vital opportunities for young people.
“I will make road safety a key priority to reduce the needless deaths and injuries that occur every year on our roads, and, through my scrutiny programme, I will see that Merseyside Police continues to deliver the best possible service to the people of our brilliant region.
“Together, we can continue to build a safer, stronger Merseyside.”
Proud to be in that number! 💜🌹🐝
The Co-operative Party now has:
8️⃣ Metro Mayors
1️⃣5️⃣ Police & Crime Commissioners
1️⃣6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣+ Councillors
We're ready to deliver on our promise to build co-operation in Local Government.
