We'd like to reach 1,000 followers by the end of the month. Can you help us get there with a retweet? We hope with more followers we'll be able to get the word out when we need support in pursuit of our federal recognition. Your allyship is vital.

As a looong time @oregonfootball fan, I gotta tip my hat to @Utah_Football ! They are a great team. Their fans are gonna LOVE the Rose Bowl. 🌹We will be cheering for them! Have fun!
My mom accidentally texted “WhT when you can borrow mine?” and I am reading it/hearing “Why would you do That” in my head. Of course she meant “why” But I actually think WhT is waaay better.
Ducks. Breaking my heart. I didn’t think we were playoff bound this year, but it was an exciting ride. They don’t belong…yet. Young team.
Look what I got today in the mail! Won this during #G2Great chat last week! Loved the chat. Thanks @HeinemannPub @DrMaryHoward @franmcveigh and @nenagerman !! What a great start to my weekend! 🤗

A7: The more I let kids lead, the less scary it is. They are brilliant & their ideas are amazing. They know so much and are taking & thinking about it already. They want to help everyone. Kids have HUGE 💕s “Look out for one another” -a t-shirt in my class yesterday. 😍#G2Great

A6: I spend a lot of time w/ kids at the beginning of the year asking them how they want things to go. How they want to be treated. Words and actions to use. We reflect and notice how we are doing. If we have a problem we use community circles to discuss and solve. #G2Great

A5: I have invited parents to share what they know with us. Teach us. About all sorts of things. We can’t have volunteers on our classrooms b/c of Covid. I miss parents in our classrooms. Working on Zooming them in maybe like I did last year when we were online only. 🤷🏼‍♀️ #G2Great

A4: 4th grade is all about OR’s history. Currently teaching about the Kalapuya people-their past AND their present. Also, aware of the history of & current migration to our school from many countries. #G2Great

Tomorrow’s discussions will be about who names places. Native names, settlers names… How should places be named? How can we honor? Who should we honor?
Q3: This is where I am going to soak in learning from all of you. I love the ideas in this question. Can’t wait to learn from you all. 🤗 And I need this book now! #G2Great

Maybe I am already a mash up of all of these in my classroom and it is hard to separate out? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am all over the place-MESSY!
A2: Start w their genius, let students notice & wonder, students share ideas & go from there-let them lead. Create systems in our class together to maximize inclusive belonging no matter the subject we are learning or taking about. Everyone has something to contribute. #G2Great

Q1: Listening to kids to find out what they like, are interested in, what makes their hearts sing. Finding what they love and trying to bring that into what we do. #G2Great
