UPDATE: Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell says of these 60 voters, 52 are citizens. The eight noncitizens are all in the U.S. legally, and most were registered through a flaw in MVD’s systems. She’s not announcing charges today. Story soon!

White House spokesperson Lauren Bis denied the administration had interfered improperly with the Postal Service. Bis also rejected the idea that the certified-mail proposal was “unworkable,” saying this played no part in the administration’s decision “to go in another direction.”

The UOCAVA ballot mailing deadline is tomorrow, but in some counties, like Pinal, UOCAVA ballots are sent out earlier to give military and overseas voters as much time as possible to receive and return them. In fact, Over 30 Pinal voters have already returned their ballots!
