Seeing the war from Kharkiv firsthand made one thing clear: this is not the war many Americans think it is. Ukraine is proving to be a capable partner to the United States, and the Ukrainians are making meaningful progress against Russia. Ukrainians are our friends. Putin is not.

Here we go again—regurgitating the same old, unkept promises. Remember the healthcare plan Trump promised during his first administration? January 2017: he said he was close to having a plan. June 16, 2019: a “phenomenal” healthcare plan was supposedly coming in about two months. July 19, 2020: he promised a “full and complete health care plan” within TWO WEEKS. It never materialized. And now he’s recycling the same promise again. At this point, it’s not a healthcare plan—it’s a rerun. Maybe the plan is to keep promising the plan. 🙄

Pardon my French, but who the f*** bombs an animal shelter??? What kind of murderous barbarians are these? Oh wait -- these same folks also use drones to conduct "human safaris" in Kherson, killing any civilian -- of any age, of either gender -- who roams the street for any reason.

Don’t worry, using taxpayer dollars to run ominous campaign ads of the President has been done before and is completely legal… in banana republics.
The U.S. Government is up on TV with this spot -- It aired nationally on FOX yesterday during Illinois at #7 Ohio State and also during Fox News Sunday this morning

Vladimir Putin has now had literally TWICE as long to propagandize and brainwash his population (2000-2026) as Adolf Hitler did in Nazi Germany (1933-1945). This is where it starts -- in grade school (if not earlier).
These are drawings by Russian children in support of Russian terrorists. Do you realize what kind of children they are raising? The current generation of Russians is far worse than the Nazis, and the next generation will be even worse than the Russians of today.

The war won't end when Zelenskyy meets with Putin, but when Putin meets with Hitler.

Unfortunately for Republicans, the situation is very easy to describe: 1. Trump won a cost-of-living election 2. Then he publicly announced a plan to raise the price of imports 3. Then he even-more-publicly started a war that raised the price of gas 4. Meanwhile, he got rich on crypto scams, while engaging in downright Pynchonian misadventures with the reflecting pool and ballroom, which sent the unmistakeable signal that "I care more about random bullshit than America's money problems ... and also I'm not even good at executing on the random bullshit"
For the midterms, I think corruption/self-dealing is issue 1b behind cost of living as 1a. It's not just that people feel things are unaffordable for themselves, they think those in power are helping rich friends get richer. From our latest "America in Focus" focus group...

Actually Trump seems to be doing a pretty good job of driving there by himself……. Like the tariffs SCOTUS said were illegal and that he lied about to Americans and has to return the $160bn collected. And the new tariffs under Section 338 of the Tariff Act of 1930 which last used resulted in a recession lasting 8 years. And that unnecessary and ill advised Iran excursion that precipitated a global economic crisis, resulting in higher prices for oil and higher inflation for Americans………and there’s no end in sight and with Saudi, Yemen and the Houthis expanding the conflict, the situation will deteriorate until Trump is gone. And it’s worth remembering this war was the result of Trump unnecessarily terminating the JCPOA in 2018…… because it was negotiated by Obama and Netanyahu didn’t like it. And let’s not forget the $40 trillion debt that will require 25% of all taxes collected just to pay the interest. And the high bond yields which is the global financial markets expressing less confidence in the US economy but will make borrowing more expensive for everyone in the US which was also reaffirmed with the Federal Reserve increasing interest rates for the first time since 2023. And successfully abusing, insulting, criticizing and threatening former friends, allies, trading partners and neighbours to the point Trump and the US are no longer trusted or respected…….anywhere, and it’s no longer clear if it can ever be recovered.

I miss the civility
Barack Obama at his last press briefing with reporters, 2017: "I have enjoyed working with all of you. That does not, of course, mean that I've enjoyed every story that you have filed, but that's the point of this relationship. You're not supposed to be sycophants. You're supposed to be skeptics. You're supposed to ask me tough questions. You're not supposed to be complimentary, but you're supposed to cast a critical eye on folks who hold enormous power."

Cracks in the dam?
A toaster is a wedding gift. A private-island party paid for by a Putin-connected oligarch is something else. Republicans nearly wore out the subpoena machine investigating Hunter Biden’s foreign relationships. We should not unplug it now. ‘Trust us’ was not enough then, and it is not enough now.

The idea that Russia invaded Ukraine because of NATO expansion is ridiculous. NATO was never a threat to Russia. Does anyone really believe that NATO was going to invade Russia? This is fanfiction level of absurdity. I've read erotic books with more logical plots.

Putin puppet Trump is going to delay signing the Lindsey Graham sanctions bill as long as he can. He will give bullshit excuses that are fed to him by his Kremlin handlers. Russia will continue to wage its genocidal war on Ukraine and global war against the West.

I still can’t get over the fact that Putin’s close buddy pays for the wedding of Trump’s son and then Trump returns the favor by pushing Ukraine to capitulate. This is the most corrupt president in the US history by a huge margin!

Russia was trying to assassinate Amercians on US soil as part of an official Russian intel operation. Every single one of those is signed off by Putin and his thugs by the way. But tell us again how amazing Putin is, how he wants peace and how grateful we are to him. Putin is a terrorist. He should be treated like one before Amercians are killed.

Trump is ruining the Republican party with his weak behavior towards Putin. Trump verbally attacks our ally and the victim Ukraine. Then Trump talks kindly and complimenting of Putin. Trump wants to reward the murderer Putin for killing innocent people, innocent children with Ukrainian land that Ukraine still controls. He wants to do this instead of taking action against Putin. Trump has refused his whole term to put any pressure on Putin, the aggressor, to stop. Trump has no problem putting pressure on the victim and our ally Ukraine. Trump waived sanctions on Russia during Iran war. Trump stopped aid and intelligence going to Ukraine. This all has only emboldened Putin. It seems to me Trump has done more to aid Putin our enemy than he has to stop him. THIS IS APPALLING!!! PLEASE REPOST
