@SamLStandsUp how about a graphic of average pass direction and distance overlaid onto a field? Like a weather/ocean currents map

Another one that could be useful is when talking about penalties, detail the penalties under advantage as +x (e.g. 10+4)

@Sora_Sakurai a good video, that works apply to wider software as well, would be to talk about testing strategy.. smash is very complex with a lot of variables that change frequently. how do you structure the testing strategy?

Further to this, did you update design docs with the proposed tweaks and fixes? I.e. what were the tests measured against and got did you record design changes

Thread: I work in an arcane field where the job requires specific technical knowledge, built on a ladder of understanding and breakthroughs going back over 100 years. It's not immunology but it's not nothing.

@JolyonMaugham with this new public order bill.. could you set up a new political party called the "public nuisance party" then just hold public assemblies? Challenge people's notions of free speech.

The next one... Borrow the pan hitting from French protests, but make the event "in support of the NHS... (And climate change)"

Politically the story of the budget seems to be: -game the 5-year debt/deficit rules to do temporary spending splurges today -juice the next parliament for permanent future policy liabilities enabling announcements today -leave departmental spend plans unsustainable from 2025 🧵

This #SixNations2023 Siobhan Cattigan will be remembered by a round of applause in the 8th minute of Scotland’s Murrayfield fixtures. Siobhan, who died suddenly in November 2021 aged 26, won 19 caps between 2018 and 2021. #8thminuteOvation #rememberSiobhan

@IVSoftware liked the fun/odd camera placement on praxis ships - makes me think you could mix that with something like StarFox Guard/five nights at freddies. Where you need to keep flicking to cameras around a giant ship to try maintain it, deal with issues/enemies

would also lend itself well to a huge sense of scale when flying by planets etc.
Final push on this video by myself and @daviesGDD analysing the B&I Lions victory over the Brave Blossoms. We looked at: Game Stats (courtesy of the #Bajad8ta team) Geraint Broke Down Attack, I looked at some of the defence Great fun to do. youtu.be/qwRWXcvmTSM

government: now is not the time to hold an inquiry into the catastrophic mishandling of the response to coronavirus also the government: we must investigate a 25-year-old story immediately
MPs have announced they are to hold an inquiry into the handling of the BBC interview with Diana, Princess of Wales - as the corporation says it will review its editorial policies trib.al/48T2PdY

@davidallengreen two post ideas for you.. one on being able to get ahead of a report and redact it (e.g. Mueller). One on the concept of an English parliament - I'm wondering if we separate English politics from British, its more fair to other devolved administrations.
1
Well already got an example today - govt using new GBR body to make in-tracks to devolved jurisdiction. While England and GB controlled by one government, hard to see how devolved administrations will ever not play second fiddle
We know how players prepare for a big game...but what about referees? 🤔 Ref @HollieDavidson0 takes you behind the scenes ahead of Wales v Ireland 🤳 #SixNations360

Before the 6N resumes, I want to address the topic that's been on my & so many minds all week. If you think the recent conversation around women's safety, especially at night, doesn't apply to you, chances are you're exactly the person who needs to read this thread the most-
Near enough every woman on my timeline is talking about the same subject, but I’m yet to see a single man say a thing. I can only hope it’s because we’re listening.

NYPD making it very clear who they serve and protect.
The Stock Market has had an interesting week to say the least. We are happy to report that the #Wallstreet Charging Bull is secure and continues to preside over Bowling Green for the foreseeable future.
