Before & After
- 65,000 ft2 Industrial
- 2 Docks
- 1 Acre Outdoor Yard
Just signed a 10 year NNN lease with a national tenant that does $20b in sales.
Building was nasty when we bought it.

I’ve got to say after spending the last 10 days in California, crime here in Michigan just seems funny and safe.
All this stuff scared me a year ago. So I stayed up for three weeks learning it. Felt like a crazy person.
I'm the type who can't stand being afraid of something I don't understand. When openclaw (and all the other tools) came out I went all in…
- youtube until 4am every night
- learned basic coding
- figured out how it actually works
I had never opened a terminal window in my life.
Goal was simple - automate my work, get my time back.
The opposite happened. I work harder than ever. I just understand what I'm doing now.
The real thing I got out of it had nothing to do with ai.
For 20 years I ran my companies on intuition. Computers don't have intuition. You have to spell out inputs, process, and exactly what you want back
Turns out that's how I should have been running everything the whole time. So I rebuilt it all from scratch (still in process). It’s been chaotic.
Here's the thing... Almost everything I learned a year ago is already obsolete. Coding is worth nothing now to the average pleb like me.
The thinking is Lindy.
I now have hundreds of agentic processes running on every tool available. None of them are the point.

Dinners at @ReconveneLA are the best.
in Santa Monica a bit early for @ReconveneLA hit me up if you want to grab a drink.
Just closed this 60k ft2 small bay conversion project in Grand Rapids Mi.
Have to have the construction done in the next 90 days... off to the races.
I just spoke a physical steel part into existence.
currently building an overland rig and customizing a truck camper to fit on the flatbed of my F550.
needed a steel centering and retaining bracket to fit into the existing stake pocket
simply explained what I needed dimensionally, the angle that I wanted for the approach, the general engineering concepts behind it.
moments later, I had a DXF file. I asked it to quote it with @sendcutsend. $156 for 4 pieces powdercoated.
approved - shipped stored payment.
arrives next week.
exercise took five minutes.
this is the future.
Big thanks to @chernobelskiy for pulling off a banger event. This room was wild.
Rammed aggregate piers going in.
2k person music and arts venue coming soon.
I’m very excited to watch this one go vertical… even more excited for the first show.
Closed: our self storage facility in East Lansing is now part of the MyPlace Self Storage portfolio, their 69th location and 7th in Michigan.
Thanks to the @MyPlaceStorage team, @NuveenInv , and @oasiscre for running a professional process, and to our team at Dymaxion for getting it across the finish line.
My kit:
- Sparrows folding multitool (versatile and small)
- Sparrows pouch (can do just about anything)
- Lishi on the left for Schlage and Kwikset (almost all residential locks)
We built a barbershop in my office. It's amazing, you should do this if you can. Saves me +/- 1 hour per week.
The white oak flooring we originally put in is not good barbershop flooring. Hair gets stuck in cracks, and not good for water. Replacing with tile. What's your pick?
What do small industrial suites (1,000 to 3,500ft2) rent for in your market?
I’m building a monster database of small industrial product across the country and this data is very thin as published.
