5-15-24, Herbert Harris found GUILTY of Aslt 1st & ACA. Incident occurred on 11-27-22. Harris was on probation for Rob 1 out of STL CO at the time (19Sl-CR02625-01). APD investigated. 1st Ast. Goodwin tried the case. Sent set 7-24-24 in front of Hon. Stacy. 22JE-CR03741-01
Kevin P. Coplin found GUILTY of Child Molestation 1st. Jury verdict after 9PM last night. Thank you to Herky PD, CAC & all witnesses who courageously testified. APA Shannon O'Neal fought tirelessly during the pendency of this case.

37 y/o Lucas Clayton is charged with allegedly destroying the holiday display at House Springs Park.

10-24-23, Holly Smith pled guilty to DWI- Death of Another not a Passenger & Leaving Scene of an Accident - Resulting in Death (Class D). She was sentenced to 15 & 7 yrs. On 5-20-22, Smith struck Meyer's motorcycle while on West Outer Road in Arnold, MO, then fled the scene.
Witnesses were able to keep sight of Smith's vehicle until law enforcement could stop her. This conviction was not only a product of great police work, but also of caring citizens. 22JE-CR03100-01 #jeffcomo

David Zufall, Jr was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections today. Assault in the Second Degree has a range of punishment up to seven years in the Department of Corrections. 20JE-CR01459-01

JURY VERDICT! Maleak Brown was found GUILTY of Voluntary Manslaughter, ACA x2 & Unlawful Use of a Weapon. On 6-15-22, Marcus James was shot by Brown while in his apartment. 1st Ast. Goodwin & APA McCreary tried the case. Sentencing on 10-19-23 in Div 4. 22JE-CR01994-01.
Lincoln Simmons GUILTY of abandonment of a corpse 6-27-23. Sentencing will be held on 9-8-23. Hon. Joseph Rathert presided.

• 1st Assistant - murders & assist SVU unit.
• 2 APA- felony SVU crimes
• NARC Attorney
• Non-Support - civil & criminal
• 3 misdemeanor APA - 2 also handle traffic
• 6 attorneys handling felonies.
APAs also perform other tasks such as DOR and treatment courts.
Due to shortages - First Asst Goodwin is handling misc felony as well as murders.
Elected Prosecutor Stefanski is handling a misd caseload & 1/2 traffic.
