"we shot 4k so its like we have a built-in second camera angle!".... oh great, just what i wanted - a second angle with the exact same framing but out of focus. great. awesome.

Rogue One is criminally underrated. I feel if it had the luxury of spreading the same story over 3 hours or even two features, it would have been met with so much more love. I would have really enjoyed spending more time with these characters.
First time using @AdobeVideo’s built in transcription and it’s amazing. So helpful and so fast. Great work!
While this is technically true (you could duplicate exact edits across any NLE) it is also wildly inaccurate. The workflow and tools available to specific NLEs absolutely influence the decisions editors make. Human element will always exert major influence depending on experience

Spoken like a camera person. 🤷‍♂️
Excited to share for #TimelineTuesday my most recent @AdobeVideo edit for a very magical client and a very cool project. Cutting this was definitely a wish come true! FINAL: youtube.com/watch?v=GuQRDERi…

Saw this LEGO graphic for data, but it may as well be for the video editing process. #postchat

This is a good point. When anti-vaxxers cite their freedoms, constitutional rights, and–the whitest thing of all–the Founding Fathers to rail against vaccine mandates, do they know what they're talking about? What if I told you this happens EXACTLY every 100 years? A thread.

I noticed my fan got quiet when I closed Chrome, so I measured its RAM and CPU usage 250 times per second while opening 54 tabs, then did the same in Safari More charts here: flotato.com/post/memory-chro…

Thread. Please RT. I'm scared to say this publically, but I feel I need to. Recently I was fired from a show on a major TV channel because I needed a day off for mental health reasons. I made the mistake of being honest, instead of pretending to have a physical sickness.

I second this, even going so far as allowing custom statuses per project would be amazing.
Scott Simmons@editblog24 Jan 2021
Hey @Frame_io … feature request. It’d be great to have one more level to the different Status indicators, Something like “Ready for Edit” or “Notes Complete” so an editor knows when review has been done and it’s ready for the next round. Status indicators are so helpful !!
