If we come to an impasse in SAG negotiations and work leaves the US (which is already happening), you know who else gets screwed over?
Production. Studios. Engineers. Casting directors. Directors.
It’s not just about acting. There is an ecosystem built around us.

Since receiving the LBFO, SAG's only update to membership was a half hour IG Live for the public. Members weren't even emailed.
Where do we now stand @sagaftra? We are heading towards an Impasse that will kill all union video games. Paying members deserve the right to VOTE.
All of @sagaftra membership got to vote on the Interactive Strike Authorization
And now, even after receiving the Last, Best, and FINAL offer, SAG is saying they are still negotiating.
No, you aren’t. It’s done. The deal is good. Now let us VOTE to end this strike

Staring at the very real possibility that voice acting in #games may no longer be available to @sagaftra VAs due to the #gamingstrike. If we don’t secure a deal, this will go to impasse. Impasse means AAA games go non-union. And then, no one wins. NU games have 0 AI protections.

Hey guys, was hoping for better news... but it's been a long time since @sagaftra has updated us on where the #IMA is at, and no one's responding when we reach out. If you guys care for VAs, or are concerned SAG actors, can you please help me reach out so we can #getbacktowork?
The job of a negotiating committee is to negotiate. Once you have a “Last, Best Final or IMPASSE”. Negotiating is over. END THE STRIKE. Back to work. @sagaftra

Jake beautifully sums up our current options with the SAG Interactive Contract: we either accept a good deal, or watch all AAA games go overseas / non-union.
@sagaftra , let us Vote! ALL Members deserve to have their voice heard. Let’s end this strike and get back to work
