DISCLAIMER: This is a long video. But, my story this past year required it.
There are more options for survival looming ahead, producing more hope for me and many others this coming year.
I am forever grateful to my friends, @LoriMills4CA42 and her husband, Andrew — along with my new social media friends they have introduced me to —for helping me navigate this part of the journey. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

“Two men made a choice in that corner…One of them has to live with what he turned into. The other one already knew.”
#GoDawgs #Class
From Kenny Woods:
Saturday night in Tuscaloosa a grown man reached over the wall at Bryant-Denny Stadium and slapped a Georgia player on the helmet. Then he shoved him.
The player was Raylen Wilson, a 21 year old linebacker.
Raylen walked away.
Understand what you just read. A stadium that holds a hundred thousand people, a stranger's hands on his helmet, and the loudest thing in the building was Raylen Wilson's silence.
That's the whole story. But, then again, it isn't. Most of us could not have responded the same. I know that I couldn't have. I wanted to know where Raylen got his august poise, so I went looking.
Here's what I found.
First, the game. Number 2 Georgia beat number 6 Alabama 20 to 17 on a Peyton Woodring field goal. If you stayed until the end you got one helluva football game. If you stayed past the end you got one helluva lesson.
Now the man. By the account of the people filming, he started twenty or thirty feet back behind the end zone, pushed through his own people to get to the corner, and went after a kid in a helmet. Nobody has put his name out and I'm not going to guess at it. He isn't the story. He's the reason there is one. Swap the jerseys for a second. If a Georgia fan had reached over the wall in Athens and put his hands on an Alabama player, I'd be writing this same post about the Alabama kid, and he'd deserve it. Where you sit doesn't change what that was.
C.S. Lewis wrote, "Every time you make a choice you are turning the central part of you, the thing that chooses, into something a little different from what it was before." Two men made a choice in that corner Saturday night. One of them has to live with what he turned into. The other one already knew.
It would be worthless to spend a paragraph on what Raylen could have done to him. Anybody who watches Georgia football knows what Raylen Wilson does to a human being between the whistles. Strength, speed, and a will to win that does not switch off. He had every physical advantage a man can have over a stranger in the stands, and no time to think. In the heat of it, with a hand on his helmet, he did not unleash one ounce of that fury. He took one step back and kept walking.
Afterward he wrote one line under the video: "I thought dude was a UGA fan tried to dap em up."
Read that again. A stranger put hands on him and his first instinct was that the stranger must be a friend. That is not weakness. That is a man so certain of who he is that he did not need to prove it to anybody in the building.
Thomas Jefferson wrote a young man in 1825, "When angry, count ten, before you speak; if very angry, an hundred."
Raylen didn't need ten. He needed one step.
The easy answer is that he's a Damn Good Dawg. This is, beyond a shadow of doubt, the truth. But it doesn't give Raylen Wilson or his family the respect they're owed. What you saw Saturday night was not a fluke and it was not luck. It was exactly how he was raised. Once I began looking, it did not take long to find where this story begins.
It begins in Tallahassee, Florida, in a house where discipline was not a lecture. It was the schedule.
His father, Robert Wilson, was a star receiver at Florida A&M, a 2016 inductee to their Hall of Fame, and played five NFL seasons for the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints. Both teams named him Community Man of the Year for logging more volunteer hours than anybody else on the roster. He founded a free tutoring service for Title I schools. He and his wife Tiffany started a nonprofit that runs the only all girls group home in Tallahassee.
He had his boys up at 5:30 in the morning running the track before school. When it was too dark to see, he drove behind them with the headlights on. Raylen says his dad chased them about two miles that way…
🧵
That is not a father making athletes. That is a father making men, and using football to do it.
Robert Wilson was raised in Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, Florida. Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, the choir, ushering. They made him a Junior Deacon before he was grown. His family said plainly that the volunteering came from the Christian upbringing. So did everything else.
John Locke wrote in 1693 that the foundation of all virtue is "that a man is able to deny himself his own desires, cross his own inclinations, and purely follow what reason directs as best, though the appetite lean the other way." He was writing about how to raise a son. Robert Wilson did it with a set of headlights.
Robert Wilson died September 9, 2020, of complications from a stroke. He was 46. Raylen was 15.
A boy loses his father at 15 and the world hands him every excuse to come apart. He didn't take a single one of them.
Raylen said this about him last year: "I really didn't get to thank him, but I hope he's watching me here every day."
His mother, Tiffany Williams Wilson, did what the strong ones do. She kept the house standing and the standard up. She has sent three sons into college football and a daughter to run track at Ohio State.
Raylen grew up chasing his older brothers, Trevor, who played at Buffalo and Kansas, and Robert Jr., who played at Grambling State. You don't get to be soft in a house like that. You grow up fast or you get run over in the driveway.
His father gave him a recipe for the game and he has repeated it ever since: "Run like a little man. Hit like a big man." He has said he owes "every last drop" of what he has to what his father left behind.
That discipline, knowing how to channel every ounce of aggression strictly between the whistles and hold absolute poise outside of them, is the rarest thing in sports. It is rarer in life. Saturday night it was on full display in the one place it is hardest to hold, with a stranger's hand on your helmet and a stadium watching to see what you'll do.
C.S. Lewis wrote that courage is "the form of every virtue at the testing point."
Saturday night was the testing point. Every virtue that man put into Raylen at five in the morning showed up at once. Not one of them took a swing.
Solomon wrote, "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city."
Georgia took Tuscaloosa Saturday night. Raylen Wilson ruled his spirit. Solomon says the second one is the bigger win.
Robert Wilson never got to see his son play a down at Georgia. He did not need to. He saw everything he needed to see at five in the morning on a dark track in Tallahassee, in the headlights, when the boy kept running.
Raylen hopes his daddy is watching every day. Saturday night he gave him something worth watching.
Not the tackles.
The step back.

This is true. 👇🏼
How does this make you feel?
If you bought a MAGA hat between 2021-2025, Jack Smith had a spreadsheet with your name and home address. Let that sink in….
Thanks to Senator @ChuckGrassley & @SenJudiciaryGOP for bringing transparency!
Time to hold Jack Smith accountable! @ItsYourGov
Another treatment is underway.
Sharing the ride with my other mini-me this month.
You guys know the sentiment…
…I’d rather not have to be here, but I am grateful for this place.
Prayers up, warrior family!!
Much love to all of you!! 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

PS - To say this journey is expensive is the understatement of the year. If you are able to help, I will put the link to the GoFundMe account that was set up for my medical costs.
Every bit truly helps. I truly need all the prayers and financial support I can get.
(The link is in the comment section.)
Thank you in advance!!
This has the potential to be really good…
Tick tock, Talarico.
Good morning, @JamesTalarico! Would YOU like to reveal where you *actually* were these past couple weeks, or should me and @RheinAmacher do it?
Please let us know by 1pm ET today!
Thank you for your attention to this matter! 🇺🇸

Got to hand it to Bill Maher. We may not agree on everything but thank God he is calling out the insanity. That takes moral courage & principles. And deserves respect.
If you can watch this video with any amount of common sense and still believe supporting the Democratic Party makes sense, I am truly concerned for your overall well being.
On that same note, if you are conservative and feel compelled to sit out the mid-term election this year, you will be voting by default for these clowns to regain their perverted power.
We must keep these people out of political power.
I haven’t kept up with the NFL in years.
Flipping channels a minute ago and watched a few minutes of the Falcons/Saints game.
I have one question:
When did the NFL start using Spaceballs helmets?
Owens says this while striving daily to convince people to quit supporting TPUSA.

I wrote the song
“I Won’t Whisper About It”
to acknowledge all mothers,
like my own, who have lost a child to suicide. Today, October 1, is the 12th anniversary of my brother Scott's loss. The mothers (and fathers) who choose to become suicide prevention advocates in the wake of their devastating losses are truly heroines and heroes among us. This song honors them. It is my hope that an established female country artist will cut this song, which is currently unreleased with the
exception of this video I made for it. If you are moved by the song, please consider retweeting it or tagging someone in a comment who you think might be able to share it with an established artist who would be a good fit to record this song. Thank you, friends. 🙏 #SuicidePrevention #SuicideAwareness

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it is NOT racist to want to stop people who hate America from coming to America to destroy America.
That is called self-preservation.
And if you hate America too, you're also free to leave. Nobody is stopping you.
A little over a year ago, only hours after this little fella was born, I had a sincere heart to heart with God on my hour long drive home from the hospital.
That joyful conversation included my infinite gratitude for still being alive and healthy enough to be with my daughter and the rest of my family when this handsome little boy, my first grandchild, was ushered into this world.
That quiet time in the car with God also included a very sincere and somewhat amusing request to hang around long enough to witness even more milestones in his new life.
Well, last night, I received another answer to those prayers, another gift that is more precious than gold.
Just before 10pm, I received this video from my son in law.
It’s only a few seconds long, but I bet I have already accumulatively watched it for over an hour.
God is so good!! And, life is so beautiful!!!
Thank you again to all of you who support, encourage, and pray for me and my family.
🙏🏼❤️
