Incredible trip to Tucson! 🌵 Honored to present #GrandRounds at @UArizonaMed on the rise of early-onset colorectal cancer #EOCRC. Great to share how our research at @KPDOR @kpnorcal @KPSanFrancisco is tackling this challenge through innovation and organized screening.
Thank you @JAMA_current for highlighting our work and the importance of getting screened for colorectal cancer starting at age 45! @KPDOR @kpnorcalGI @KPSanFrancisco
Lowering the colorectal cancer screening age to 45 is supported by similar adenoma detection rates between those aged 45 to 49 and those aged 50 to 54, with slightly lower prevalence in the younger group.
