Beautiful Impactful. Reminds us who & what we are, what we are meant to be. As world citizens. Not Simply Americans or Japanese. We are world citizens, responsible to each other. Today’s Russians, North Koreans & Iranians play as NAZI Germany & will go that route.

Help me work through this logic.
"The economy is booming, it's the Golden Age. The US is making more money than ever."
When asked about high prices, Bessent says: "it's Biden's fault."
Both cannot be true.
The entire administration is insulting the intelligence of the people.

With the waiving of sanctions for Putin's benefit, Trump is now a naturalized Russian.

Never in the history of the Peace Prize, has anyone begged for the prize. We are being ridiculed by the rest of the world.

"In some ways we have won," implies that in other ways, "we have lost"
What nonsense! However, this is the only interpretation.
You either win or lose.
The entire administration is inept.

Russia struck this little girl’s house with a drone the day after I took this photo. Her father and brother were killed. She only survived as she had gone to the kitchen to get water.

I spent 16 years in the British Army, leaving the Parachute Regiment as a Major. I served three tours in Afghanistan, one attached to US Army Special Forces, as well as tours in Bosnia, Northern Ireland and the Middle East. I later taught military theory and leadership at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Academically, I have an LLB in Law & Politics, an MA with Distinction in War Studies & Military History and an MSc with Distinction in Psychology. I also hold postgraduate qualifications in Leadership & Strategic Management and Higher Education, and I am now completing a PhD in War Studies examining what Ukraine and the post-7 October wars can tell us about the future of warfare.
Since leaving the Army, I have spent a great deal of time going to the wars I write about. I visited Gaza twice in 2024, went inside captured Hezbollah tunnels in Lebanon, visited the Ukrainian front lines, and in 2025 became the first neutral researcher invited to observe the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation distribution sites. My research has produced substantial reports on casualty statistics, human shields, information warfare, humanitarian operations and the tactical lessons emerging from Gaza. You can find them at @HJS_Org
I make no apology for advertising to you that this is an unusually strong background for analysing contemporary conflict. There are not many conflict analysts who combine command experience in war, formal study of war, law and psychology, experience teaching future Army officers, think-tank research and repeated fieldwork inside the conflicts they analyse.
Those different disciplines also catch different mistakes. Military experience makes it harder to mistake a map arrow for a feasible operation. War Studies forces tactical events back into their political and strategic context. Psychology matters when propaganda, perception and behavioural manipulation have become part of the battlefield. Law matters when almost every contemporary campaign is simultaneously fought through international institutions, courts and competing claims about legitimacy. Fieldwork is the final check because people who actually fight wars have a habit of complicating theories developed by chairborne researchers from several thousand miles away.
That is what I try to bring to my Substack. I am less interested in telling readers who “won” yesterday than in working out what happened, why it happened, what the participants were trying to achieve, whether they possessed the means to achieve it, and what the consequences are likely to be. Tactical success, military effectiveness and strategic success are not synonyms. Much bad analysis begins by treating them as though they are.
I will get things wrong. Anyone analysing wars in real time will. The promise I can reasonably make is that I will go to the evidence, go to the people involved where I can, change my assessment when the evidence changes, and tell you what I think rather than what my supposed political tribe would prefer me to think.
There is an enormous quantity of geopolitical commentary available for free. I think the combination behind mine is genuinely unusual.
If that is the sort of conflict analysis you want to read, please check out: mrandrewfox.substack.com
Weak little boys with the authority of office. So easily impressed. Our enemies instantly know our leadership’s weaknesses & fondnesses. Pathetic!!!

The President of the United States is actively supporting Russia, the country that has actively helped Iran target American soldiers.
We used to call that TREASON.

A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
Such inexperienced little boys running the USA now. Putin has a PhD in economics. The Nazi Joseph Goebbels had a PhD in German Philosophy. Hitler’s Governor General of Occupied Poland Hans Frank had a law degree. So easily impressed Vance Rubio Kushner Witkoff are. It’s almost as if none of them ever accomplished something hard and tough themselves. Trump gets a hard-on every time he mentions Putin. All are telegraphing that weak knees for brutal rapists, mass murderers. Glad none were running USA at a truly difficult time like WWII. Any living Americans would be speaking German.
PS I’ve met Putin many times and listened in on calls with him as well. I also speak Russian. Yes he is soft spoken, deliberate, and measured. So what? He’s still a killer. He still launched a barbaric invasion of Ukraine, that has produced tragic loss of life not seen on this scale in Europe since WWII.

❗️Republican Congressman Fitzpatrick stated that this week he will hold talks with President Zelenskyy regarding Starshield, sanctions, and support for Ukraine, warning that any restriction on Starshield for Ukraine will result in investigations, congressional hearings, and budget cuts. He emphasized that Congress confirms Ukraine as an indispensable ally and Russia as an enemy, and demands full military support for Ukraine, tougher sanctions, and a complete ban on Russian oil imports, which will be approved by the House of Representatives.

Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed Canada is moving away from Starlink, heavily backing a $2.3B contract for homegrown rival Telesat Lightspeed instead.
