I built Healing Path because I got tired of watching people try to heal with nothing but motivation.
Trauma isn't a lack of willpower.
Anxiety isn't a mindset problem.
Recovery isn't something you achieve because you read the right quote.
For most of my life, I lived in survival mode. Trauma, addiction, anxiety, and years spent running from things I didn't understand.
Getting sober changed my life, but I quickly learned that sobriety wasn't the finish line. Healing was.
So I built the app I wish I had years ago.
Healing Path is a trauma recovery platform designed to help people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or exhausted from carrying everything alone.
Daily check-ins.
Guided reflections.
Journaling.
Progress tracking.
Emotional awareness.
Practical tools.
No mindset hacks.
No fake motivation.
No pretending everything is okay.
Just structure, support, and a path forward.
If you're rebuilding your life, healing from trauma, navigating recovery, or trying to become the person you know you're capable of becoming, I hope Healing Path helps.

5+ years sober.
Still healing.
Still showing up.

Being neurodivergent isn't the part that bothers me.
Spending years believing I was lazy, difficult or "too much" does.
I wish that kid knew the difference.

One of the weirdest parts of healing?
Realizing you weren't "too sensitive."
Some of the shit that happened to you was actually fucked up.
You were just surrounded by people who normalized it.
One thing childhood trauma and being neurodivergent can have in common?
You become really fucking good at studying people.
What should I say?
How should I act?
Am I being too much?
Did I annoy them?
Eventually you're not just being yourself.
You're constantly managing how everyone experiences you.
I’m a guy who has lived through some shit, built businesses, made mistakes, rebuilt parts of my life, and shares what I’m learning along the way.
Mental health check-in.
How’s everyone really doing? Please be honest. You don’t have to say “I’m fine” if you’re not.
You’re not alone here. 🫶
Depression isn’t always believing there’s nothing good in your life. Sometimes it’s worse. Knowing the good is there and still feeling like none of it can reach you.
Childhood trauma is weird.
You can know you're safe.
Know nobody is mad at you.
Know you didn't do anything wrong.
And your f*cking body is still preparing for something bad to happen.
Your brain moved on.
Your nervous system didn't get the memo.

One of the cruelest things we do to struggling people is tell them to ask for help, then make them fight like hell to prove they’re struggling enough to deserve it.
It’s fucking infuriating.
Childhood abuse isn’t always bruises and broken bones.
Sometimes it’s being screamed at...
Belittled... Threatened... Humiliated... Manipulated.
Made to feel worthless by the person who was supposed to make you feel safe.
Those wounds don’t show up in pictures.
But they’re f*cking real.
When you grow up in survival mode, your mind gets conditioned early.
You learn to put your guard up, expect betrayal, and assume everything is going to break.
For years, I thought my addiction was the main issue.
But the drinking was just a symptom of deeper wounds I hadn't touched yet.
Tired isn't always about a lack of sleep. Sometimes it's about a mind that never gets a break.
What is currently keeping your mind from getting a break?
Getting older or getting sober does not automatically heal childhood trauma.
When you grow up expecting pain, betrayal, and failure, those lies follow you right into adulthood. Addiction and negative coping mechanisms are not the core problem. They are just symptoms of deeper wounds you spent years running from.
Toughing it out or getting sober does not erase past abuse. It just forces you to finally stop running and face it.
Being unbreakable does not mean you never fall apart. It means choosing to heal so your family does not inherit the broken pieces you were handed.
Childhood trauma forces you into survival mode. It conditions your mind to expect pain, betrayal, and failure instead of allowing you to dream.
It usually shows up as:
• Hiding vulnerability out of fear it will be used against you.
• Pretending everything is fine while carrying heavy burdens alone.
• Using addiction or distraction to numb a voice that says you are not enough.
Addiction and negative self-talk are not the core problem. They are symptoms of lies planted early in life.
Getting sober or toughing it out does not erase childhood wounds. Recovery starts when you confront the buried pain instead of letting it dictate your future.
Reflect on your own survival responses today. What is one lie from your past you need to start confronting?
