Gary Bettman believes the NHL has gotten away from the original purpose of no-trade clauses 👀
Bettman says they were intended to protect players signing long-term in a place they wanted to stay, not allow them to demand a trade AND dictate where they’re willing to go.
He says if this becomes a bigger problem, the NHL may have to address it with the Players’ Association 🤔

Dakota Joshua remains “uncertain” to be ready for Opening Night, with the cause not shared by head coach Jim Hiller
Joshua skated with the Marlies group today
“He’s on his return to play and not quite there yet. So, we’re getting close… won’t get into specifics, but he’s just been dealing with something.
Nothing happened recently… I don’t know that (if he’ll be back for opening night). I don’t know that.”

Nintendo says it’s working on new ways to stop scalpers.
At the annual shareholder meeting this year, president Furukawa said they are working to make sure cards end up with fans instead of resellers.
Do you think Pokémon can beat the scalpers?
