Twitter was my social drug of choice, but I am loyal to no platform, so...
I am still on here for updates, but over at counter.social for the chit chat. We will find each other again if it was meant to be.

There’s a reason we said trans rights are human rights, and it comes back to the fact that gender essentialism is bad for everyone.

Whether some realize it or not, the ADA helps all of us.
Because the truth is everyone is just one moment away from becoming disabled.
And we should all be so lucky that we live long enough to gain a disability ourselves.
Disability rights are human rights.

A vote for Kamala is a vote for kids.
It’s time to start talking to your family, friends, and neighbors about why you support Kamala.
Hopefully this video about @Their__Future PAC helps⬇️
Was always proud I made it through college debt-free — two jobs, no loans —would have never made it without Pell grants.
It’s down to the last two hours! My book chat is currently more popular than my tech talk — which is expected ❤️
I’m also eagerly watching the items I bid on
I donated two items to the #RomancingTheVote auction!
1) A first chapter read and Zoom call and 2) Tech Talk with a CTO - a Zoom call where you can ask tech Jeannie anything about breaking into tech, career advancement, what’s up with AI — all the stuff. 32auctions.com/organizations…

My not-so-profound reflection as AAPI heritage month is rolling towards the end:
There was a time when readers would ask about Asian rep in romance & the replies were something like: so-and-so once had a character whose grandmother was Japanese in 1 of their 50 backlist titles
And little ol’ me would be in the back of the room waving my hands frantically—I’m here! I’m here.
Now when readers ask for romance recs with Asian rep, they’ll often preface it with “and please don’t say Jeannie Lin.” 🤣
The needle sometimes moves slowly, but it does move.
