Imagine how different the world would be if we never challenged the way things have always been done. 💭
Moving away from using animals is another step towards a more compassionate, just world. 🌱✊

From surviving the dog meat trade to life in a Chinese shelter, it’s wonderful to see Bonnie bouncing around her new home because it’s dinner time! It’s these simple little moments that make it all worthwhile.

Azerbaijan: a school forced to barricade doors with desks to enforce secular law - no veil at school. Muslims refuse the law and turn violent. Right call: religion out of schools and politics. If you want Sharia in school, stay in your own country. Simple.

After we reported on the disturbing arrest of members of a 'monkey torture' online group we have looked into it some more and it gets worse.
A Scottish mother-of-two involved jailed for more than two years back in 2025.
Natalie Herron, 39, from Airdrie in North Lanarkshire, joined online chat groups which encouraged torture of macaques by offenders based in Indonesia.
Investigators discovered 4,000 messages on a WhatsApp group which had been sent by Herron discussing torture and hatred of the animals.
Messages included one that said: “I am shocked how easily the drill went through the skull, it was like butter.”
Another message read: “Trying to find a video where they will kill the mum and the babies watch.”
The acts of cruelty included crucifixion, machete attacks and one video that showed a baby monkey being dipped in boiling oil.

🐻 Ricky Gervais is a Legend
Ricky Gervais used his comedy tour profits to help the last 150 bears kept in bile farms in Vietnam. He donated £150,000 to animal rescue charity Animals Asia as part of a record Christmas donation to animals.
I love ❤️ @rickygervais Thank you so much

Vets who tend to operate
With veterinaries who
Really are a wicked bunch
And what does accrue
In veterinary practises
The putting to sleep
Which literally means murdering innocent babies
That certain makes us weep
Agony and misery for a tidy sum
Who’d be a miserable veterinary
It all just leaves me numb

Born in prison 😢👺The poor innocent piglet has a death sentence and is on death row in a bloody concentration camp 💔🤬Cara Haden talking here is a vet who sold her soul & integrity to the meat industry. Don’t be a Cara. #EndAnimalExploitation #LiveVegan be kind to every kind ✌️

A reminder of what Britain is facing with the return of Meghan Markle. She has zero respect for the Monarchy and the British people.

I see the race baiting photographer has given another interview talking about racism and misogyny are the only reasons Harry and Meghan aren’t being welcomed back with open arms. 🙄🙄
That is utter bullshit. They are disliked because they lied, the abused staff, they betrayed the Queen & Prince Philip in their final years, they tried to destroy the royal family with false allegations, they are cashing in on their titles, they are demanding taxpayers to fund security, they used sick kids and tragedies for photo ops, they’ve turned Invictus into the Harry & Meghan show, they use the less fortunate as a backdrop to play fake philanthropists and all they do is complain, moan and lie.
They are not liked because they are not nice people.

Ok guys, I’ve been looking into Malala Yousafzai’s charity, the Malala Fund and I have some questions.
According to its 2024–2025 financial reports:
Revenue: $16.48 MILLION
Expenses: $23.34 MILLION
Net assets: $42.97 MILLION
That means the charity spent approximately $6.86 MILLION MORE than it brought in‼️
And then there are the executive compensation figures:
CEO: Approximately $372,000
Chief Adviser: Approximately $320,000
COO: Approximately $241,000
The charity’s tax filings also disclose FIRST CLASS or PRIVATE travel for officers or key employees. ✈️ WTF?!
But here’s what I’d like to know:
How much of that $18.94 MILLION in program spending actually reaches girls and local educational organizations?
How much goes toward salaries, consultants, advocacy campaigns, and travel?
What measurable educational results can donors independently verify?
And why did a charity with $16.48 million in annual revenue spend over $23 million that year?!? 🤯
When you’re raising millions in the name of educating vulnerable girls, I don’t think asking where the money goes is unreasonable.
Charity should be about the cause, not the celebrity attached to it.
It now makes sense why Malala looked so comfortable dining at Claridge’s. Malala lives a life like a rockstar.

Two and three years in prison for paying for monkeys to be r*ped and mutilated is too small. @reformparty_uk Fix this please.
The ringleader of an international network of monkey torturers has been jailed for more than three years – but will be freed after serving just one year.
Bartosz Poklek, 30 and currently lives in Bexley Heath, led an online 'cult' dedicated to torturing and killing the animals for entertainment, and distributed 'horrific' cruelty videos which sold for up to £375 a time.
Among his cruelty and torture, he wrote scripts for how the monkeys should be mutilated, dismembered and tortured, and directed the way they would be killed, including them being clubbed to death with a hammer while wearing a nappy.
Poklek is just the latest man to be sentenced in connection with the network.
Peter Stanley, of Knotty Ash, Liverpool, was jailed for 20 months in September 2024 for publishing obscene articles by sharing Facebook videos that showed the torture of baby long-tailed macaque monkeys.
Stanley, 44, was arrested following the broadcast of a BBC documentary, called The Monkey Haters, which uncovered the existence of streaming videos containing the torture of baby monkeys.
Two women were jailed at Worcester Crown Court for their involvement in the ring two months later.
Holly LeGresley, 41, of Kidderminster, was jailed for two years and Adriana Orme, 57, of Upton-upon-Severn, was locked up for 15 months.
They admitted publishing an obscene article and causing unnecessary suffering to animals.
UW HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO.
PETA obtained this never-before-seen footage through a public records request, and now the public is getting a look at what @UW has done to infant monkeys 💔
