If you told me 4 years ago the protagonist of our little indie game would be on Fortnite one day... I think I'd drive you to the hospital myself

The second anyone releases anything, be it art, music, books, or even games--the second it's out there, the worst of humanity feeds it to AI to rapidly make slop duplicates to undercut the original.
This can't continue. AI is theft. These models never should have been released.

A month ago, we released Kernel Hearts.
We always knew this game would stay in our hearts forever, but seeing it resonate with so many people has been a dream come true.
Today, we’re celebrating over 160k units sold. That’s life-changing for a small team like ours.
Thank you all for your support! We hope you enjoy what we have in store for November! 💖 ✌️

It's only very good for people who are more interested in their own ego rather than people who are interested in relating to others.
I don't mean this offensively.
Legitimately, there's people in this world who appreciate art as a window into the soul, history and perspective of another.
AI music simply cannot offer that.
There's also people who just like music because of how it makes them feel and have zero regards about its origin, the way it was made, the people it made it. It's only about them and the way they feel listening to it.
A commodity, not art.
Those are the same people who can write a tweet like yours and truly believe it.
Lucky for many human musicians worldwide, that's not everybody.
But yeah, for people like yourself, AI generated music may give you everything you need!
Definitely not for me though. Not even close.

finished Hannibal. why did no one tell me they were explicitly in love with each other and it wasn’t the imagined mass psychosis of fans from the 2010s who were victims of queerbaiting

It’s been one week since Kernel Hearts launched!
Thank you all so much for your support.
We’ve already sold more than 120,000 units, and during the weekend, we reached over 2,500 concurrent players across the Epic Games Store and Steam alone!
We’re completely overwhelmed by all your encouragement. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that our first game would grow into such a large and passionate community.
Thank you again for your support.
We hope you enjoy everything we have planned for Kernel Hearts in the coming months!
