We've lost the ability to touch one another appropriately. This follows us into marriage. MEN! If the only touch you give your wife is when you want to *MAKE OUT* then she will begin to resent and recoil. Dancing is GREAT way to introduce non-sexual touch. Be less creepy!

One of my first sociology papers was about how the loss of dance culture -- with it's rigid, impersonal, known rules -- led to social dysfunction. If we don't know how to touch each other in polite society it makes everything else so weird.

It's not just a marriage issue. Friendships are touch-starved because all touch is assumed to be sexual because a lot of touch is intended to be sexual. It is YOUR responsibility to figure this out.

Your president might be pumping you up, but he's making it harder for you to have friends and get girlfriends. If you mess with this, we aint friends. I pray the Lord breaks you down and brings you to severe repentance.

Hey college students, don't do this...

A warning to Donald Trump: I’m deploying election lawyers to key battleground districts in California to protect every vote. And I just made it a FELONY to illegally seize ballots.

As a pastor, I always assumed that people knew that they were weird. Everybody’s weird. Everybody needs everyone else’s grace and long suffering. I was wrong. People are always surprised to hear that they are also weird and people are extending them grace all the time.

How do we get conservatives to stop caring only about stuff that impacts them or people they know directly?
Replying to @JoelWBerry
This has been probably the darkest 24 hours I’ve ever experienced on social media in my life. The things being said about Samuel, his wife, and his small children are unthinkably evil. There is a segment of the so-called “Christian” nationalist crowd that has given itself completely over to Satan. I’ve never had more resolve to defeat these subversive demons invading the Right and invading Christianity.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Joel Berry has promoted deportation of illegal immigrants that he doesn’t know. Suddenly he opposes it in this case since he’s sympathetic to the person who’s being deported. This is inconsistent. x.com/joelwberry/sta…

I’m not at liberty to share all the details, but suffice it to say that many people rejoicing over this have given a completely incorrect rendering of what occurred and why. ICE did not come to his home. This whole thing is a paperwork issue that they’re working to resolve. Samuel Sey is a good man. As you can imagine, his wife, who’s at home with their 3 babies, is devastated and also trusting the Lord to help them find a resolution quickly. Please pray for all of the Seys. Pray for wisdom and provision. Those celebrating because they don’t like something Sam said are slanderous backbiters and gossips. Pay them no mind

Before farmers get any subsidies I think they should have to pass a drug test and I best not be seeing them buy Pepsi and pop tarts.

I paid a fortune to drop the bucs and pick up the panthers. Bucs were projected to get 4pts and panthers double that. Instead the panthers got -3 and THE BUCS GOT TWENTY EIGHT. Someone come get all the cereal and ice cream out of the house. Ben & Jerry’s is not safe around me.

The Russian Orthodox church has officially become heterodox. Committing their own heresy of ethnophyletism.
The Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has officially mandated the rebaptism of Ukrainian Orthodox Christians and banned them the use of the Ukrainian language in divine services. On October 22, the Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church approved a document titled "Guidelines for the Reception of Individuals from Ukrainian Schismatic Structures Wishing to Join the Russian Orthodox Church." It applies to people in Russian-occupied territories who were previously affiliated with the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church (UAOC), the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate (UOC-KP), or the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU). The document outlines three procedures for joining the ROC. Notably, it stipulates that individuals baptized within the OCU, UOC-KP, or UAOC must undergo the Sacrament of Baptism again to join the ROC. Different rules apply to those originally baptized within the ROC, the Roman Catholic Church, or a Protestant denomination. Regarding the accession of entire congregations to the ROC, the document states that such a community may not demand a distinct liturgical order or a special administrative status. Furthermore, the use of any language other than Church Slavonic in divine services is prohibited—even though the ROC elsewhere permits the use of various other languages, ranging from English to Japanese.

It’s no longer left vs right. It’s everyone against the boomers. They are going to burn the country down before they let a single other generation get even half the life they got handed to them. Capitalism? Socialism? I just want whatever deal the boomers had.

“I assert now that on this point the Greeks [orthodox] and Bohemians are neither heretics nor schismatics, but the most Christian people and the best followers of the gospel on earth” -Martin Luther But you have to know which “point” he was referring to.

Dropped my late teen off at a Geese concert and hit up a movie at the coolest indie theater in Oakland. @TheNewParkway. Incredible.
