@ByronDonalds Fellow rattler, this was misleading. You failed to mention that the Filibuster that Storm Thurmond intended to prevents Civil Rights Act, switched his political party from Southern Democrat to Republican AFTER President Johnson passed it in 1964.
Many people were also furious and followed suit by moving their political party affiliation to Republican. Afterwards, every Republican candidate were opposed of the Civil Rights Act. By the 80’s all Southern Stated were now Republicans States. @cthagod @breakfastclubam
