Socialism’s fatal conceit is the belief that the state can make better decisions for you than you can make for yourself.
I know politics is a blood-sport, but even this has limits. I saw the article on NJ.com that shared multiple female elected officials stories of harassment, intimidation, and bullying. While these are unique times where the political temperature in an election cycle is beyond the boiler, you don't get a free pass to be physical, toss out death threats, or send inappropriate mail.
