I thought ACR had a good year of PR but how the company conducts biz reminds me why I withdrew. If it wasn’t for the Venom and some of the ambassadors that mean well, I’d be completely done with the company.

High stakes sportsbettor on ACR ran up to $200k on a hot streak in 2024, and his cashout was REFUSED!
He was told he had to rake a whopping $61,000 in poker play!
This poor guy has lost over $50k of it back, and is nowhere near $61k rake.

All top 5% graduates in Texas are automatically admitted into UT. This policy makes up 75% of the student body. Those outside 5% apply via a holistic process where students hope their standardized test scores and extracurricular achievements make up the difference.
Asians make up 22% of the student body. Crazy how much noise we’re getting for a few dozen Indian kids sitting together cheering on their school.
Why do I care? I completed two degrees at UT. It’s an amazing school with a connected and supportive alumni group. It represents a ton of American values. And politics aside, I think both UT and the city of Austin makes Texas and America plenty proud.
Also, I’m conservative on many issues. But Bo French is misguided here.

In my late 30s, I wanted to give rec league basketball one last shot. But my body never quite recovered. I can barely squat. I’m slow. Knees and joints always in pain.
I’m 40 now. I’m ok with never playing competitive basketball again. Def hard saying goodbye to one of the only things I’ve ever loved in life.

I was once at a private game where everyone convinced each other to play on shrooms.
At one point, I had to cover myself with a blanket bc I couldn’t make eye contact and was just melting in my chair.
Good times but I couldn’t do that again lol.
I remember one session in Manila with Chairman. We were playing huge and nobody was allowed to quit.
I asked a very famous poker player at the table if he had anything to keep me awake, like Adderall or Modafinil.
He said, “Yeah, I have something.”
He went back to his room, came back, and gave some to Trueteller and me.
We tripped balls for the next 10 hours.
At some point I asked him, “Wtf did you give us?”
He just said:
“You’re not sleepy now, right? 🤭.”
Fair point.
I think we still managed to play okay, but staying seated was a torture.
Spending 60-70 hours a week on my poker business, but I can’t help thinking about my pivot.
I should really start cutting 20-25% of my week and scaling up time into AI tools and education.
