Showers begin overnight into Tuesday morning, with periods of rain tapering off into the early afternoon. Morning fog patches are also possible and a southeasterly wind will be quite gusty. Afternoon temperatures top out in the 7-13°C range (big range because of cool water).

Friday is shaping up to be quite sunny but it will feel a lot cooler than today. Temperatures will top out in the 5-8°C range (for most areas) with a cool and brisk 20-40 km/h north-northwesterly wind (gusts may top 50 km/h for exposed areas).

Honestly, getting to work here and call #PEI home already makes us winners! A big thank you to @TheCdnAcademy for the nomination (it is a huge honour) and congrats to the @GlobalBC team! Oh, and @TravisKingdon, that suit is on point (@LouiseMartinCBC always sets the bar so high).

Thanks, Andrea and Kevin Rogers for these terrific pics of Meghan, Katelyn and Janice's visit with @JayScotland on @CBCPEI's Compass tonight. We are pumped for a spectacular Tim Hortons Easter Seals Ambassadors' School Tour and appreciate you sharing in our excitement!
Clouds increase ahead of some rain later tonight. Mostly cloudy with showers possible Wednesday morning. Cloudy with showers also possible in the afternoon AND I can't rule out some wet snow mixing in by late afternoon or early evening (particularly for northeastern areas).
Katelyn and Meghan will be stopping by our @CBCPEI studios tonight to talk about their big school tour (which kicks off tomorrow btw). See you on Compass!
It's Tim Hortons Easter Seals PEI Ambassadors' Tour time! Coming to a school near you starting Wed April 12th. :-) bit.ly/414FaTc
