My 3 year Behance dry streak ends today. Here's a showcase of some of the work I haven't really posted, along with breakdowns, explanations etc. Hope this makes up for my lack of activity :) behance.net/gallery/12993147…

Makes me sick to think I used to make 4-8 thumbnails a day

Thumbnail designers be like Recent MrBeast thumbnail, let me know your thoughts! And act like they're just posting inspiration lol

The Three Musketeers of useless buttons on YouTube

Big age of 25 still making YouTube thumbnails all day I had to draw the balloons myself

The best way to improve as a designer isn't to study or practice or get feedback, it's to live in Russia apparently.

Thumbnailers are going from fake ai before sketches to fake ai before blender scenes the game is crazy right now

I've kept every single PSD I've ever worked on so one day I can sit my grandkids down round the fireplace and show them what the days were like before ai existed

If you're thinking of hiring a thumbnail designer and are impressed with the creators they've worked with, I'd always recommend inquiring about the extent of the work. I've seen some people do a trial thumb and use that to put the creator in the bio. Or sometimes just lying lol

I've been so disconnected from the YouTube community, but I switched to using the Following tab on Twitter instead of For You and it feels usable again. I'm actually seeing thumbnail/art posts again. Have I missed much?

Are there any examples out there of designers who post legitimate before sketches?

I was told turning my hobby into my career is a bad idea because it'll eventually suck the passion out of it. I'm on year 6 of designing full time and I still love it as much as when I started. So when should I expect it to stop being fun?

24 and… …yup still making thumbnails 🤠

I regret tweeting
