I have also found this to be true! Always looking for people who are not comfortable with only doing what is technically expected of them, but for those who passionately grow in to the space beyond that! They often move mountains. When others are complaining.

Since the moment we were born we are influenced by the people closest to us and our surroundings. This never stops in life, BUT as we get older we get to decide what we allow to influence and shape us. Don't just go with the flow, be a steward of your mind!
