NEW: Philadelphia group poses as “pedophile hunters” charged with kidnapping and extorting men Six people have been charged with operating as “Always Running Plays.” Investigators say they posed as underage girls online, then confronted men while impersonating police. In June, three allegedly lured a man, handcuffed him, and threatened to expose him as a pedophile unless he paid. The group allegedly stole more than $50,000 from him and more than $100,000 from another victim over years. Police found no evidence any of the targets had sexually assaulted or harmed children. Prosecutors say the money funded guns, luxury cars, Miami and Mexico trips, yacht rentals, and designer items.
