British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating an assault on board a train in the West Midlands have released this image in connection. At around 3.50pm on 13 June, a woman was sat in a carriage on a video call when she was approached by a man. After being told to go away, the man punched the woman in her cheek and chest. He then walked away and returned a short while later before pushing the victim and punching her in the face, causing her to fall. As the train approached Coventry railway station, the woman went to leave the train, but he followed and verbally abused her. She was able to get away from him before leaving the station. The man also left the train at Coventry. Officers believe the man in the CCTV image could have information that may assist their enquiries. Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 433 of 13 June.
