Can't wait for the next season of #RunningPoint
🚨 Today's Lakers ownership drama summarized so far:
🔸 Shams Charania (ESPN) reported: The Buss family has decided to sell their remaining 17.8% ownership stake to Bob Iger and Josh Kushner.
🔸 Buss family statement (via Shams): "It is time to use this opportunity to move on and exit gracefully while we still can."
🔸 Alex Sherman (CNBC) then reported: Jeanie Buss' attorney sent a letter to her siblings' lawyers denying that she will sell HER stake.
🔸 NBA rule: A team's Governor must own at least 15% of the franchise to remain in the role.
🔸 If the full 17.8% sells, Iger + Kushner would control approximately 83% of the Lakers.
Family drama unfolding LIVE.
