🔹 #PCA News: Training session at the Congress of #Guatemala 🇬🇹🔹 🏛️ Last month, @PCA_CPA Legal Counsel Javier Comparini-Cuetto delivered a training session on #arbitration and the work of the #PermanentCourtofArbitration for the staff of the Directorate for Legislative Studies and Research at the Congress of #Guatemala 🇬🇹. The Directorate includes advisors and personnel from the Working Committees of the Legislative Branch. 💼 The training provided an overview of the #PCA’s mandate and mechanisms for the peaceful settlement of international disputes and fostered a deeper understanding of the relevance of arbitration within legislative and policy frameworks.

🔹 Noticias #CPA: La CPA colabora con la @sg_sieca para la 2nda Edición del Moot #SIECA en Centroamérica ⚖️ 🔹 🌎 La #CPA tuvo el agrado de apoyar la 2nda Edición del #Moot SIECA, el cual reunió a 12 equipos de toda #Centroamérica en una exitosa competencia regional sobre comercio y solución de controversias que tuvo lugar del 25 al 28 de marzo. 🤝 Tras la invitación del Secretario General de la @sg_sieca, Sr. Francisco A. Lima Mena, y del Administrador del Mecanismo de Solución de Controversias Comerciales de Centroamérica, Sr. Andrés Paniagua, la #CPA colaboró en la redacción del caso del moot. Previo a la competencia, el Consejero Legal de la #CPA Javier Comparini-Cuetto y la Consejera Legal Adjunta Ji Soo Kim impartieron una capacitación sobre la #CPA para ayudar a los equipos en su preparación. Durante el moot, el Sr. Comparini-Cuetto dio palabras de apertura y actuó como árbitro en la ronda semifinal junto con el Sr. Norman Harris y la Sra. Sabrina Martínez Peralta. 🏆 La #CPA felicita al equipo de la @U_Landivar de #Guatemala, que resultó ganador tras una ronda final arbitrada por el Sr. Hugo Romero Martínez, la Sra.
