Why have we seen any interviews with Daniel J. Sullivan? If he is a legitimate candidate, wouldn't he be doing lots of interviews right now with all this attention and explaining why Alaskans should vote for him? Where is he??
I am proud of Ouachita and our Board of Trustees for taking this stand. It's the right move.
Some Ouachita Baptist University staff are opposing a new policy, starting next academic year, requiring all University faculty and staff to sign a Statement of Affirmation and commit to upholding the school's stances on faith, sexuality and gender.

Happy Opener, South Dakota! Foster and I wish you good luck in the field!
Pheasant hunting is part of who we are, and it’s a tradition worth passing on to our kids and grandkids.
As Governor, I partnered with landowners to start the Second Century Initiative, helping turn marginal land into wildlife habitat so the next generation can enjoy the same hunting traditions we grew up with.
This @BaptistPress article claims that the new Accountability Letters, along with existing audit requirements, “exceed what is required of an IRS Form 990.” Can @ScottBarkley or whoever made this claim please explain how this is the case? @rhett_burns @Jeff_Iorg @WillyRice #SBC27
After years of requests for higher levels of accountability among Southern Baptist Convention entities, letters from them are included in the current edition of the SBC Annual, available as of Sept. 23, joining already-available audit reports.

This year @TexasBaptists will allow electronic voting via Messengers' cellphones. It will be interesting to watch how well this works and if other state conventions and the @SBCMeeting adopts similar technology.

I have a sticky note on my office desk of eight different churches asking me to help them look for student pastors right now.
I have told each of those churches this, and I will tell any church looking for a youth pastor - you have to pay them like you want them to stay.
The guys I talk to Christian colleges and seminaries are staying away from student ministry because the role simply does not pay a wage to sustain a family.
If your church wants to reach the next generation, there has to be an investment in their leadership.

SBC has a committee we elect to review proposed amendments. It's called the Executive Committee. We have a process to refer amendments to this elected committee. It's called Standing Rule 6. #ITried
