They’re Sending the Old Man Home.
Hardly a day has passed since 1985 that I haven’t listened to Jimmy. My only tattoo is a parrot. I was looking forward to “A Pirate Looks at 80.” He lived like the rest of us dreamed, and inspired our imaginations. Forever grateful.
Coastal Carolina’s uniforms are an exact match for the 5-year old birthday party invitations we mailed out in 2005.
Strong jalapeño harvest coming in late this year. Plants are still loaded. At least one will be as hot as a bell pepper but most have been scorchers.

Absolutely makes “No Sense “ that @Caitlinclark22 is targeted in such a negative manner by many of her peers . She should be treated like ROYALTY for what she has done for the @WNBA ! #@ESPNPR nypost.com/2026/07/07/opinio…

President Trump awards the Medal of Honor to retired Marine Maj. James Capers Jr. for extraordinary heroism during a four-day reconnaissance mission in Vietnam.
Despite suffering multiple severe wounds and massive blood loss after his team was ambushed, Capers continued leading his men, directing fire, and guiding the patrol to an extraction site. He refused evacuation until every member of his team was safely aboard the helicopter.

One of the greatest speeches of the late 20th century, given on the 40th anniversary of one of the most spectacular days in human history.
One of my favorite home run hitters! Tough stretch for the Braves.

ALT Bob Horner built a career out of being first. He was the first overall pick in the 1978 draft after an illustrious collegiate career. He was the first Braves draftee to skip the minor leagues entirely and debut directly in the majors. And he was the first Atlanta player to ever hit four home runs in a single game when he did so against the Montreal Expos in 1986. The National League Rookie of the Year in 1978 and an NL All-Star in 1982, Horner teamed with Dale Murphy to form one of the most feared power duos in the game for nearly a decade. The Atlanta Braves extend sincere sympathies to his wife, Chris, two sons, Tyler and Trent, and his numerous friends and fans across the game.
