Examine @California_ISO data for 18:40 PDT 10/1, in the middle of the @flexalert. This is the last 5 min interval with a contribution from solar; 279 MW total from ALL of CAL ISO solar+wind resources combined, 0.7% of supply. Diablo Canyon nuclear plant provided 5.2% alone.

In recognition of former Auburn head coach Gene Chizik on the sidelines of tonight’s Missouri at Auburn game, let’s throwback to when Gene represented all girl dads when some long-haired hippie showed up at his house to pick up his daughter for prom in 2014🤣

Charlie was an optimist! He was leading a revival of conservative Christian values and the happiness it could lead to! Charlie is irreplaceable! A true evangelist. " if you disagree with me, step up to the front of the line." Condolences to his family and the young people of this country. Many in our Auburn student body are horrified tonight, you young patriots who love our country like Charlie. For now let's morn, keep the violent rhetoric down and then live our best lives, committed to making this country better.

Yesterday Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania succesfully decoupled from Russian continental grid effectively entering an "island" mode of grid operation.
Today they succesfully synced with continental grid of the EU, ending one of the last remnants of former Soviet Union dominance in the region.
Big day, worthy of celebration and praise for all TSO'a hard working staff, of which Polish @pse_pl played an important role in this historic moment. – at La Oliva, Spain
Seriously, this is one of my favorite museums in Warsaw - a must-visit for anyone interested in graphic arts and a creative photographer’s dream shooting location.
The Warsaw Neon Muzeum is a true treasure! With its vibrant look at Warsaw's past, it highlights the history and resurgence of neon signs, especially those from the Cold War era. Anyone interested in the city's unique history and architecture should definitely check it out. No wonder this article highlighted it ⤵️

Son, brother, and I in Houston to see @jabarismithjr and the @HoustonRockets host @MiamiHEAT tonight. Jabari with the first 4 points of the game with a 3 and plus 1. Big smile hearing more than a few (clap, clap-A-U) cheers when he sunk the free throw!🦅
I will never tire of watching reactor vessel installation videos. The skill of the men and women who engineer and execute these precision lifts is amazing👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This needs at least as much exposure as when things go "over schedule and over budget":
@opg finished the refurb on one of their nuclear reactors 5 months early.
This will renew the reactor for another 30 years (65 years total), playing into @energybants 's thesis that nuclear plants should be thought of as energy "cathedrals" which last generations.
"The 875-megawatt (MW) unit was taken offline for refurbishment in February 2022. Prior to this, Unit 1 ran for more than 1,000 days straight, setting a world record for continuous operation of a nuclear power reactor."

Great news! Bulgaria is a long-time nuclear operator; I'm looking forward to the fresh perspectives and experience that Hyundai will bring to the project and the AP1000 build as Bulgaria solidifies their energy security with zero carbon nuclear power.
Big news from Bulgaria! Today in Sofia, we signed the Engineering Services Contract for two AP1000® reactors to be built at the Kozloduy nuclear plant. The contract includes site planning for the new units & support for licensing and permitting. Read more: info.westinghousenuclear.com…
