It became less about the player and more about…..
Ego.
Money.
Promises.
Politics.
People selling a dream.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, we started forgetting what select basketball was supposed to be about.
The player.
Teaching them how to work.
Teaching them how to compete.
Teaching them how to be coached.
Teaching them how to handle adversity.
Teaching them how to be a teammate.
And most importantly…
Helping young ladies reach their basketball goals without comprising their character, values or the person they are becoming.
We're old school.
And we're okay with that.
We still believe character matters.
We still believe work matters.
We still believe coaching matters.
We still believe relationships matter.
