It is actually starting to cool, thank The Lord, and the nights are starting to arrive just a bit earlier. Soon that superior season will be upon us. Autumn. This reminds me of story from a few autumns past when Rascal had to deal with some ne'er-do-wells raising Cain late one night at the shop. When I got there I found the creature dressed in his best 1800's sleepwear and holding a .45 revolver. "You take the light, i'll lead the way." was all the talk he would allow. He handed me the Humming Meadow Silo Taper Hurricane and deeper into the dark warehouse we went. Given that this was years before Humming Meadow was stocking these I have no clue how he came by it. No, I did not bother to ask. How that evening unfolded is a story, perhaps, for another time. For now I will thank @SummRidge for always supporting us and will say that this week's fun is a Taylor's and Co. Remington Conversion .45colt revolver paired with a lovely Humming Meadow Silo Taper Hurricane Candle holder (will be throwing in a candle too!) My dear friends, it is with great pleasure that Harvey, Rascal, and myself (with the ever present support of @SummRidge , of course) bring you our first BIG COZY CONTEST! My most beloved season is Autumn, then Winter, Spring, & Summer. In that order. SO, when Ken suggested to our venerable X wholesome poster, @OldHollowTree , that he sweeten up one of our giveaways, and the good man buzzed at the opportunity, deciding to offer up a Humming Meadow mug, I got excited and decided to try and rope in a bunch of wholesome Americana to help us get through this last bit of summer heat and look towards autumn. Well.. I found The Rascal. Straight Chillin'. Goober sat there enjoying his music, for a long while. I just stood there, pretended to be unimpressed with what he had done to the library, and waited for his dramatic pause to conclude.
