Advice to young people:
If you can change a metric ton of diapers and then tell other humans to put their dishes in the sink a trillion times, congratulations. You’re ready for 85% of parenting.
One time in high school my friends and I went Christmas caroling. But we had a list of 12 or 15 songs we’d sing them ALL.
It was about 20 degrees out.
When we ran out and started Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, our principal locked his door and went to bed.
At least he tried.
For over 10 yrs, I’ve had “my karaoke song” picked out. It changes from time to time, but I practice. That way when we show up and everyone is trying to decide, I’m ready.
And I’ll nail it every time.
Thing is - I don’t enjoy karaoke.
Haven’t been since 2003.
My school gave out “student of the month.” Two per class, per month.
In elementary I never got it. In middle school either.
Senior year I was finally selected. But there was a questionnaire to fill out, and I filled it with jokes.
I was un-selected as student of the month.
Anyone else pick St Peter’s as a joke? And now you’re already counting your cash?

The Catholic Church has ordered a Recall on Souls effected by Improper Cleansing due to a manufacturing (syntax) error on a specific Production Line.
All affected Souls should receive a letter referring them to their local Soul Dealer (Preist) for a free Updated Cleansing.
The Catholic Church said baptisms performed by a priest who served in Arizona for 16 years are now presumed to be invalid because he used incorrect wording on a subtle but key component of the sacrament.

I will forever remember this as the night JD played with Dre.
I read a total of 5 books in high school that weren’t assigned.
2 were Christian fantasy, and that whole journey is between me and my therapist.
3 were banned from my school library. Thanks, mom and dad, for helping me find copies (even if Holden Caulfield is a whiner).
Taking some time this weekend and my reading list is the best 3 books I started this year and haven't finished.
