Asked Stuart - the dog next door - to come back in a hour and he returned 50 minutes later.
Fuckin' rude.
Day 53
Hey all, so I've been thinking all morning about about #MeToo
Is it over? Did it really solve anything? Did it extend beyond cameras? Industries? Race? Class? Do we (both men AND women) support accusers/victims unlike us? Did we learn anything?
This is what I'm asking MYSELF...
So far many of the answers need to stick with me right now. But one I wanted to share with you is to EMPOWER the women in your lives. Empower us to expect to feel safe. Feel worthy. Feel seen. Feel heard. Feel valued. Reaffirm us from birth until our last breath. ALL of us...
What I now know about myself is that I'd have jumped ship long before the slave ship made it to America.
Also, I cut my hair. And you know what they say: when a woman cuts her hair she's in an unprecedented worldwide pandemic.
S/O to the people worried about everything BUT sex right now.
When it comes to sex, many people worry that they're not normal. Relax: You are. A sex educator shows how to rediscover sexual well-being: t.ted.com/kIPjgjX
If no one talks about the real shit, nothing ever changes. Ever house has a different pandemic: the family of 5 in a 2bdrm whose income just dropped, the family that's lost all their elders or the single person just worried about their job. We're ALL going through it. Let it out.

It is surreal. Appreciate your candor. The news of Asia moving through this is hopeful. 🙏🏻
I'm tired of sheltering in place with my anxiety. Most days is nearly debilitating. Hence, the cooking simply for the calm it brings. So if you're struggling just to keep the fear of the unknown in check, know that you're not alone. I'm with you.
