(1/6) Our church is going through a 4-wk series this month on Living as the Family of God. This past Sunday's sermon, Differences in the Family of God, was particularly good. I hope you take the time to listen. It's relevant always, esp. in an election yr. parkchurch.org/2024/01/21/di…

"To sing praise songs in a church service while trafficking in the bearing of false witness against people who fled for their life...is more than just cognitive dissonance. It’s modeling the devil himself, whom Jesus called “the father of lies” (Jn 8:44)." theatlantic.com/politics/arc…
Hey @BallySportsNOR, why not keep your single camera zoomed out far enough to keep both the pitcher & batter in view? It'd be easier then to at least see what's happening on the infield. – at Westminster, CO

If your Christianity sees kindness as weakness and compassion as compromise and treating with dignity those with whom you disagree as collaboration with the enemy, you have utterly lost touch with Christ.
"Love for others remains a central element of Christian teachings (Lk 10:25–37). Given the ever-rising atmosphere of hate, we would do well to recover this love as an operating principle within the church and to allow that love to spill out into the world" christianitytoday.com/ct/202…

An EXTREME (G5, Kp=9) geomagnetic storm is currently in progress.
This is the strongest solar storm to impact Earth since October 2003.
If the storm holds at this strength, aurora may be seen as far south as southern Texas, Florida, and Mexico this evening.

"Too often today, church hunting simply becomes a search for “our people”—that is, those who live comparable lifestyles, have similar opinions, and vote the way we do. And if that’s our approach, we’re missing out." —Carmen Joy Imes christianitytoday.com/ct/202…
Well that was an emphatic start to a playoff series against a Suns team that blew out the Wolves three times in the regular season! That was fun to watch! #WolvesBack
