And several rape & sexual assault criminals with lesser sentences!
Two years in prison for throwing a plastic bottle and swearing at police. Unacceptable behaviour, sure. But when far more violent criminals routinely receive much less punitive sentences - and sometimes avoid jail completely - how can this be justified?

The good reason for separate single-sex changing rooms and public bathrooms is that 98% of sex offenders are men (zero evidence the statistics change for men who identify as women) and 88% of victims are women and girls.
That is actually segregation. It's just segregation that could be justified. Segregation isn't always wrong. But you have to have a good reason. It can't just be because you don't like XYZ

There are 90,000–100,000 percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures performed in the UK every year. Most of these involve the placing one or more stents. So there are many hundreds of thousands of people with stents in the UK. The NHS recommends that people with a stent avoid folic acid supplements. And yet the government has just made it mandatory that all non-wholemeal flour contains folic acid from December 2026. White flour is in a huge range of everyday foods, not just bread. Pastry. Cereal. Cakes. Biscuits. Sauces. Breaded chicken and fish. Sausages. Stuffing. Marmite. Even some wholemeal and "gluten-free" bread. How are people with heart stents going to avoid folic acid? On a typical British diet involving a lot of baked goods, it won't be hard to consume just as much folic acid as you'd get from a supplement tablet. And it will happen unknowingly, since there is no labelling saying "Warning! Don't Eat This If You Have A Stent!". And no information about how much folic acid is in each product. Does the government not care about people with stents? Or people with cancer? Or people with vitamin B12 deficiency? I guess not. Please sign Dr Clare Craig's petition and get folic acid out of flour and keep it in tablets, prescribed by doctors, only to people who need it, in controlled doses. And write to your MP and the Secretary of State for Health. @YvetteCooperMP

Ed should see this as a clear out of the knotweed of his "friendships". In his rise to the top, he will have acquired many false "friends". No true friend would speak publicly in this way about his or her friend. Everything would be said in private. This bloke was never a friend.
Ed Sheeran’s longtime friend bashes the singer over his response to Macklemore and Palestine; calls it “unacceptable.” Jordan Stephens, who has been friends with Sheeran for 15 years, has said it was “unacceptable how he chose to respond.” He has also blasted his ‘friend’ for giving an “appalling” statement on Gaza. “This whole political neutrality, total playing down of what's happening in Gaza, the use of the word 'conflict' in his statement was appalling. It was an appalling statement.”

FACT. Asylum caseworkers are not allowed to reject illegal migrants from Afghanistan and Eritrea even if they are on the Sex Offenders’ Register. Those men’s human rights trump the right of British women and children to feel safe in their own country. Madness.

We are witnessing the slow death of ownership. Music, movies, software, cars, even printers. Everything is becoming a subscription. You no longer buy a product. You rent permission to use it, paying month after month for something that can be taken away the moment you stop paying. Corporations get endless revenue. Consumers get endless bills. And somehow, we've been convinced this is progress.

We have proof of names being removed and many have asked for why and what has happened to their names under the FOI and GDPR rules. I have two templates on my profile. It has names removed constantly. It is being illegally impeded & this must be scrutinised in parliament too!
I am very highly suspicious that @ClareCraigPath excellent petition to stop additional folic acid being added to all flour-containing foodstuffs, on the basis that is is mass medication for all, even if you must avoid folic acid, is being throttled. It has had just >71,000 signature in 3 months despite many discussing here and sharing it far and wide. Please read and sign petition.parliament.uk/petit…

Found THIS "Enforcement & Regulations" on the UK Gov't Folic Acid agenda papers yesterday, & was frankly STUNNED! It will become ILLEGAL & a Criminal Offence to IMPORT folic free flour from any EU Country... Unless it has folic added. Am I living in an alternate reality or something? Think about that.. A CRIMINAL OFFENCE to import the most basic of human foods. FLOUR! This is just a communist toe tap, away from actually BANNING FLOUR, altogether. & this Gov't paper say's it will: "Enforce CORRECTIVE ACTIONS" For any flour, black marketeers. CRIKEY! I better hide my Polish flour haul I got from Lidl last week! So, is the Burnham Gov't going to have FOLIC ENFORCEMENT & the Flour Police? ? (I am just going to have a nice, sensible conversation with a huge caterpillar, smoking a hookah, sat on top of a big mushroom...) @andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @foodgov

This week the Lib Dem’s made clear. If you believe that a woman is an adult human female - Ed Davey and the Lib Dem’s aren’t for you. If you believe in safe, single sex spaces for women and girls - Ed Davey and the Lib Dem’s aren’t for you. They are not a serious party. They are definitely not a party for the rights of women and girls.

Check labels.. folic acid is already added to most supermarket foods.. It is a toxic synthetic chemical not natural folate & is risky for everyone. (see @ClareCraigPath ) Sign the petition to get this out of our foods.
From 13 December, folic acid is going to be added to non-wholemeal common wheat flour in the UK, which means it will end up in many of the breads and flour-based foods eaten every day. And before you think, it's a vitamin, surely that's a good thing, I think you need to understand what they're actually adding. Folate and folic acid are NOT the same thing. Folate is vitamin B9 that occurs naturally in food, including wheat itself. The wheat grain naturally contains folate, along with other nutrients, but refining wheat to produce white flour removes the bran and germ and reduces many of the nutrients naturally present in the whole grain. Folic acid, on the other hand, is the synthetic form of folate used in supplements and fortified foods. The Government's own guidance states that from December, 250mcg of synthetic folic acid must be added to every 100g of non-wholemeal common wheat flour, regardless of how much folate is naturally present in the flour. Iron, niacin, thiamin and calcium carbonate are also subject to mandatory fortification requirements. So why should we question it? because our bodies have to process folic acid before it can be used, and we don't all process it at exactly the same rate. The NIH explains that the activity of the enzyme involved in metabolising folic acid varies greatly between individuals. When that capacity is exceeded, unmetabolised folic acid can remain circulating in the blood. And what needs far more attention, is the affect on cancer development. Folate is involved in DNA synthesis and cell division, and according to the NIH its relationship with cancer may have a dual role. Adequate folate may be protective during the early stages of cancer development, while high doses of folic acid taken after precancerous lesions have already developed may potentially promote their development and progression. Human studies haven't given one simple answer either, some trials have found no increase in overall cancer incidence, while others have raised concerns around particular cancers or circumstances. The NIH concludes that the effect of supplemental folic acid on cancer risk remains unclear, particularly in people with previous colorectal adenomas or other cancers, and that more research is needed. For me personally, I see that as a risk. There are other questions too, high folic-acid intake can complicate vitamin B12 deficiency because it can correct the anaemia while neurological damage associated with B12 deficiency continues. Unmetabolised folic acid has also been linked in research with reduced numbers and activity of natural killer cells, although whether the folic acid itself causes this isn't yet known. I'm not saying eating fortified bread causes cancer, as that isn't what the evidence says. But what I'm questioning is why are they routinely putting synthetic folic acid into food consumed by millions of people who haven't chosen to supplement with it. And if you DON'T want added folic acid, don't assume simply buying organic white flour gets around the new regulations. Wholemeal flour is exempt, as is flour produced by qualifying small mills, and the rules apply specifically to common wheat, so there are other choices available. There are already independent millers and producers discussing unfortified alternatives, and personally I'd be looking for flour that specifically states it is unfortified, checking the label, asking the bakery what flour they're using, or buying an exempt flour and making my own sourdough. And don't assume “sourdough” automatically means unfortified either. If it's made from fortified white common-wheat flour, the folic acid is still there. That's why baking your own with better ingredients would be the bst option. You can read it for yourself in thye below links, don't be fooled by seeing the word vitamin and assuming it must be better for us. gov.uk/guidance/bread-and-fl… ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Fo… gov.uk/guidance/bread-and-fl…
